A well crafted open source iOS framework
...Some major components include coverflow, calendar grid, network requests and progress indicators. Much of the foundation (besides UIKit) is built off of curry. curry is a submodule you'll need to pull down with tapku to run. Tapku is an open-source project I started back in the early days of the iOS SDK. Summer of 2009 to be exact (shout out to my peeps that juggle and recite pi). It featured elements that made it popular like the calendar grid UI. (The kid got emails from the archdiocese of New Orleans, no lie.) Over time, anything that I'd use often for different projects would wind up in tapku after I felt it was A. something that would be helpful to share between projects and B. up to the standard of sharing with the community. -

PicPodz: 3D Photo Slideshow Sphere

PicPodz is on the Mac App Store (http://is.gd/iAEWHn) PicPodz is an OS X 10.10 desktop photo slideshow in the form of a sphere. Just drag images into the window then change modes. Pics will change randomly. Resize or maximize to suit your needs. I recommend organizing copies of pics into folders, rather than using originals. Just select all images and drop them into the window. -

There's known issues with this approach, and to this date (February 2019) I STRICTLY DO NOT RECOMMEND TO USE Aspects IN PRODUCTION CODE. We use it for partial test mocks in, PSPDFKit, an iOS PDF framework that ships with apps like Dropbox or Evernote, it's also very useful for quickly hacking something up. Aspects uses _objc_msgForward which causes issues with other code that uses message forwarding. -

Qalculate OS X
Qalculate ported to Mac OS X
Qalculate, http://qalculate.sourceforge.net/index.html, and its library (libqalculate) are built using glib and GTK+ or KDE for the GUI which are pain in the ass on OS X. I managed to port the libqalculate library to OS X using Cocoa classes to replace the glib functions and other patches. Everything works except date parsing from a string. Only OS X >= 10.6 and 64-bit are supported. I can only test on 10.7.4. I also patched the command line interface of Qalculate, qalc.cc, and i'm working on the native GUI, in Cocoa. ... -

UITextFieldEx is a component I developed after seeing Apple extended UITextField (cocoa touch) that they used when you set up a @me account on an iOS device. This component acts in the same way as a UITextField with the addition of 1 UILabel: readOnlyText.
