ReelGeek
Free vertical video maker for Windows - photos in, a reel out
ReelGeek turns a folder of photographs into a vertical video edit, cut to a beat grid, on your own machine.
Two or more photographs and you have a reel. The order you set is the order they are cut in, and the cuts sit on a tempo grid rather than a plain timer, so a track at a similar tempo locks on when you add audio in the app you post from.
Five looks to choose from: Hype, Clean, Soft, VHS and Luxe. Hook text on the opening seconds and an end card if you want them.
The output is a 1080 by 1920 H.264 MP4 with no watermark and no export limit, and the same file works as is for TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.
It never uploads your photographs and it never posts on your behalf. Every frame is rendered on your own PC.
Free for personal and commercial use, with no Pro tier, no adverts, no bundled offers, no account and no telemetry. Open source under GPL-3.0. Windows 10 or 11, 64 bit.
