iperf was developed by NLANR/DAST as a modern alternative for measuring maximum TCP and UDP bandwidth performance. Iperf allows the tuning of various parameters and UDP characteristics. Iperf reports bandwidth, delay jitter, and datagram loss. iperf version 2 (in this repository) is no longer maintained by its original developers. Current ESnet development efforts are focused on version 3 of iperf (otherwise known as iperf3), which is available at: https://github.com/esnet/iperf http://software.es.net/iperf Meanwhile, a third party has taken up development and maintenance of iperf2. YAJSW is an Apache licensed pure java alternative for tanuki java service wrapper. It implements a multitude of additional functions and can be easily extended with groovy scripts. JSW configurations can be easily ported.

UFTP is an encrypted multicast file transfer program, designed to securely, reliably, and efficiently transfer files to multiple receivers simultaneously. This is useful for distributing large files to a large number of receivers, and is especially useful for data distribution over a satellite link (with two way communication), where the inherent delay makes any TCP based communication highly inefficient. The multicast encryption scheme is based on TLS with extensions to allow multiple receivers to share a common key. UFTP also has the capability to communicate over disjoint networks separated by one or more firewalls (NAT traversal) and without full end-to-end multicast capability (multicast tunneling) through the use of a UFTP proxy server. These proxies also provide scalability by aggregating responses from a group of receivers.

Really, the paid-for services are just commercial honeypots. If an attacker can compromise a VPN provider, they can monitor a whole lot of sensitive data. Paid-for VPNs tend to be insecure: they share keys, their weak cryptography gives a false sense of security, and they require you to trust their operators. Even if you’re not doing anything wrong, you could be sharing the same endpoint with someone who is. In that case, your network traffic will be analyzed when law enforcement makes that seizure.

rtsp-simple-server is a ready-to-use and zero-dependency server and proxy that allows users to publish, read and proxy live video and audio streams. Npgsql is an open source ADO.NET Data Provider for PostgreSQL, it allows programs written in C#, Visual Basic, F# to access the PostgreSQL database server. It is implemented in 100% C# code, is free and is open source. An Entity Framework Core provider is also available and exposes some features unique to the PostgreSQL database to EF Core users. Finally, a legacy Entity Framework 6.x (non-Core) provider is also available but is no longer being actively maintained. Npgsql is the open source .NET data provider for PostgreSQL.
