The Neighbor Discovery Protocol Monitor (NDPMon) is used by Internet Protocol version 6 network administrators for monitoring ICMPv6 packets. NDPMon observes the local network for anomalies in the function of nodes using Neighbor Discovery Protocol (NDP) messages, especially during the Stateless Address Autoconfiguration. When an NDP message is flagged, it notifies the administrator by writing to the syslog or by sending an email report. It may also execute a user-defined script. The nagios-statd daemon allows a Nagios server to monitor and alert about various resources on remote Linux machines. If using python >= 2.6 on the remote server, nagios-statd stops accepting connections after 39 consecutive requests in a short period of time. Zebra_Session is a PHP class that acts as a wrapper for PHP's default session handling functions but instead of storing session data in flat files it stores them in a MySQL database, thus providing both better security and better performance. The library is also a solution for applications that are scaled across multiple web servers (using a load balancer or a round-robin DNS) and where the user's session data needs to be available. Storing sessions in a database makes them available to all of the servers! Zebra_Session's code is heavily commented and generates no warnings/errors/notices when PHP's error reporting level is set to E_ALL. Starting with version 2.0, Zebra_Session implements row locks, ensuring that data is correctly handled in a scenario with multiple concurrent AJAX requests. -

The dashboard uses PHP/MySQL (requires php5+), html, and css. It's all open source and very easy to work with and make changes. The client I'm using is included and is written in python.
