    SVCEval-RA

    SVCEval-RA

An Evaluation Framework for Adaptive Scalable Video Streaming

SVCEval-RA is a simulation framework for rate-adaptive video transmission using the Scalable Video Coding standard (H.264/SVC). Our approach uses feedback information about the available bandwidth to allow the video source to select the most suitable combination of SVC layers for the transmission of the video sequence. The proposed solution has been integrated into the network simulator NS-2 in order to support realistic network simulations.

    ns2-wimax-awg

WIMAX Model for ns-2.36 implementing IEEE 802.16-2012 OFDMA.

The earlier version of this NS-2 add-on (for OFDM PHY) was developed at NIST. At the WiMAX Forum Plenary Meeting at Hawaii (January 30 - February 2, 2007), the decision to merge the independent development efforts supported by Application Architecture Task Group (AATG), WiMAX Forum and NIST was taken. In 2009 the source code was made available to public though the website http://community.4gdeveloper.com/ and is moved from Google code to sourceforge gain a broader attention. Credit is...

    WSN-simulation

Simulation of a routing protocol for Wireless Sensor Networks(WSN)

The WSN simulator is network simulator specifically designed for wireless sensor networks simulations. It is specifically designed for my own research works. The results may or may not be accurate as other widely renown simulation tools like ns2, netsim, opnet, etc. It uses a multithreaded approach of running events of a network. It was the best solution that I thought which could also help in easily producing randomness in the event scheduling.
