Cervelletto is a neural network simulator. It uses a new neural model based on biological, neurological and psychological studies. [it's not yet completed... just give me some weeks! sorry!]

This project is based on a personal effort for researches on dynamics of coevovling networks. As a physicist, I am trying to build a framework for discrete-time dynamics of general networks, and its software libraries with APIs.

Datagram Congestion Control Protocol (DCCP) for Network Simulator.

D.N.S. - aka Debian Network Simulator - is a Virtual Machine prepared to run as a guest in VirtualBox to emulate complex networks. It is based on Debian Jessie and is built around the well known GNS3 Project. Thanks to D.N.S. you can emulate Cisco and Juniper devices, as well as different kind of servers, to build complex networks for testing purposes or to have an huge help to study for a certifications like CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA and so on. The goal of the project is to provide an easy to use environment to build a virtual laboratory with GNS3 even without be familiar with GNU/Linux and configurations. So, if you are studying for a certification and/or if you want to build your own laboratory to simulate Cisco, Juniper devices and - in general - complex network topologies, you will find in D.N.S. a good friend :D The first public release has been published on Sunday, 9th of February 2014. DSR-UU is an implementation of the Dynamic Source Routing protocol that runs in the Linux kernel or in the ns-2 network simulator. It was originally created at Uppsala University, hence the UU.

ECEbuntu is a customized operating system designed for electrical and computer engineering (ECE) students. ECEbuntu is targeted to universities and students as it represents an environment that contains more than 30 pre-installed software and packages all catering to undergraduate course-work in ECE. ECEbuntu supports a range of tools including programming tools, tools for circuit analysis and pcb design, mathematical and numerical analysis tools, network analysis and tools for microwave and RF transmission design. ECEbuntu is free and is intended to be an alternate to existing copyrighted/expensive solutions. It is built on top of Ubuntu 12.04 LTS operating system. ECEbuntu attempts to reduce duplication of effort for building software workstations in laboratories and is intended to act as a good teaching source for a class room setting. This project deals with the implementation of a Fisheye State Routing (FSR) module for the network simulator ns-2. It can be integrated into ns-2 to simulate mobile ad hoc networks using FSR for routing data packets.

A Graphical Editor and Animator for the ns-2 Network Simulator.

Grubix is a sophisticated and scalable discrete-event ad hoc network simulator written in Java. It is geared towards mobile wireless networks with many nodes in both indoor and outdoor scenarios. GrubiX is a maintained fork of the Shox project.

JBotSim is a multipurpose dynamic network simulator that allows to quickly prototype a distributed algorithm and test its behavior on a set of static or mobile nodes. If mobile, the nodes can be controlled by the mouse or by program.

JSensor is a sensor network simulator implemented at Computer Science Department of Federal University of Ouro Preto (DECOM-UFOP), Brazil. In contrast to JSensor counterparts, it is designed to simulate millions of sensors in multicore and, in near future, multicomputer architectures.

Liowsn (Linux for works with WSN) was created to assist teachers, students and people involved with projects of Wireless Sensor Network (WSN). Mangrovia is a tool for automatic complex multilayer topology generation in a compatible format with Network Simulator 2 (ns-2). Based on specs (in xml format), software creates an otcl script. Users can set Bandwidths, Distances, Linking Policies.

Mesh is a Network Simulator written in VC for WinNT platforms. Useful for testing Network programms.

Network Controlled Systems (NCS) and transport co-design for network simulator NS2.

The NS-Mapper ad-hoc scenario editor is improved and extended by adding more realistic strategies, such as random based node placement, movement and traffic to the ad-hoc simulation of the Network Simulator 2 (NS-2).

NS2 Linux is dedicated to improve the Network Simulator (NS-2) to match Linux performance. Planned contents include: an NS-2 module that runs Linux congestion control functions, tutorials on how to run NS-2 to match Linux performance, benchmark for TCP.
