0 A.D. (pronounced "zero ey-dee") is a cross-platform real-time strategy (RTS) game of ancient warfare. It's a historically-based war/economy game that allows players to relive or rewrite the history of ancient civilizations, each depicted at their peak of economic growth and military prowess.

This is a basic client/server game in DirectX featuring up to 16 simultaneous players moving around a flat sheet of grass as skinned/animated .X meshes (the Tiny model from Microsoft demos) in only about 3500 lines of code.

This is currently in the Planning stages. Using Basketball GM code as a guide. If anyone that is interested in helping out with this project should let me know as I am a new at coding and know that this is a work in progress. I hope to have this working within a year and have beta testing at that time. Version 1 will be open source as far as the basic parts of the game. After that I will not be updating this code and it will be closed source for personal reasons.
