    MESHROOM

    MESHROOM

    3D reconstruction software

Photogrammetry is the science of making measurements from photographs. It infers the geometry of a scene from a set of unordered photographies or videos. Photography is the projection of a 3D scene onto a 2D plane, losing depth information. The goal of photogrammetry is to reverse this process. The dense modeling of the scene is the result yielded by chaining two computer vision-based pipelines, “Structure-from-Motion” (SfM) and “Multi View Stereo” (MVS). Fusion of Multi-bracketing LDR images into HDR. Alignment of panorama images. Support for fisheye optics. ...

    VGGSfM

    VGGSfM

VGGSfM: Visual Geometry Grounded Deep Structure From Motion

VGGSfM is an advanced structure-from-motion (SfM) framework jointly developed by Meta AI Research (GenAI) and the University of Oxford’s Visual Geometry Group (VGG). It reconstructs 3D geometry, dense depth, and camera poses directly from unordered or sequential images and videos. The system combines learned feature matching and geometric optimization to generate high-quality camera calibrations, sparse/dense point clouds, and depth maps in standard COLMAP format. Version 2.0 adds support for dynamic scene handling, dense point cloud export, video-based reconstruction (1000+ frames), and integration with Gaussian Splatting pipelines. ...

    ML Sharp

    ML Sharp

Sharp Monocular View Synthesis in Less Than a Second

...The core idea is speed: the 3D representation is produced in under a second on a standard GPU, and then the resulting scene can be rendered in real time to generate new views interactively. The representation is metric, meaning it supports camera movements with an absolute scale rather than only relative depth cues, which is useful for consistent viewpoint changes and downstream spatial tasks. The project is structured for reproducibility, with code and assets aimed at demonstrating view synthesis quality, sharp details, and fine structures when rendering high-resolution images.

    Kornia

    Kornia

Open Source Differentiable Computer Vision Library

...Inspired by existing packages, this library is composed by a subset of packages containing operators that can be inserted within neural networks to train models to perform image transformations, epipolar geometry, depth estimation, and low-level image processing such as filtering and edge detection that operate directly on tensors. With Kornia we fill the gap between classical and deep computer vision that implements standard and advanced vision algorithms for AI. Our libraries and initiatives are always according to the community needs.

    AV1 AVIF

    AV1 AVIF

AV1 Image File Format Specification - ISO-BMFF/HEIF derivative

...The project outlines the syntax and semantics required for AVIF compliance, including support for multiple image profiles, color depths, chroma subsampling modes, HDR/WCG, alpha channels, animation/image sequences, and various color-space/bit-depth combinations — making AVIF a versatile, modern image format suitable for both simple photos and advanced imagery needing high fidelity. The specification ensures interoperability across encoders and decoders, providing guidelines so that images created by any compliant AVIF encoder can be reliably decoded by compliant decoders. As adoption grows, AV1 AVIF plays a crucial role in promoting a royalty-free, open, high-efficiency image standard that competes with older formats such as JPEG and newer proprietary ones.

    HuMidi

    HuMidi

Play MIDI like a human in ROBLOX with automatic sustain pedals.

HuMidi is a universal piano auto player for ROBLOX. It plays even the most generic MIDI file with great depth, thanks to the humanization and automatic sustain pedal generation algorithms. The pedals are generated with a thorough analysis of the MIDI data, adding more depth to your performance that no other MIDI players could! Personally have been tested in: - Visual Pianos - Starving Pianists - Digital Piano - Piano's Got Talent This tool is universal, as long as the piano in-game allows to be played on a keyboard.

    Crunch PNG

    Crunch PNG

Insane(ly slow but wicked good) PNG image optimization

Crunch is a tool for lossy PNG image file optimization. It combines selective bit depth, color type, and color palette reduction with zopfli DEFLATE compression algorithm encoding using the pngquant and zopflipng PNG optimization tools. This approach leads to a significant file size gain relative to lossless approaches at the expense of a relatively modest decrease in image quality. Continuous benchmark testing is available in our GitHub Actions CI.

    Crunch

    Crunch

Insane(ly slow but wicked good) PNG image optimization

Crunch is an image compression tool for lossy PNG image file optimization. Using a combination of selective bit depth, color palette reduction and color type, as well as zopfli DEFLATE compression algorithm encoding that employs the pngquant and zopflipng PNG optimization tools, Crunch is effectively able to optimize and compress images with minimal decrease in image quality. While it may produce file size gains larger than those produced by lossless approaches, the impact on image quality is often imperceptible, and optimized file sizes are still significantly lower than the original.

    GIMP ML

    GIMP ML

AI for GNU Image Manipulation Program

This repository introduces GIMP3-ML, a set of Python plugins for the widely popular GNU Image Manipulation Program (GIMP). It enables the use of recent advances in computer vision to the conventional image editing pipeline. Applications from deep learning such as monocular depth estimation, semantic segmentation, mask generative adversarial networks, image super-resolution, de-noising and coloring have been incorporated with GIMP through Python-based plugins. Additionally, operations on images such as edge detection and color clustering have also been added. GIMP-ML relies on standard Python packages such as numpy, scikit-image, pillow, pytorch, open-cv, scipy. ...

    Exposure

    Exposure

Learning infinite-resolution image processing with GAN and RL

Learning infinite-resolution image processing with GAN and RL from unpaired image datasets, using a differentiable photo editing model. ACM Transactions on Graphics (presented at SIGGRAPH 2018) Exposure is originally designed for RAW photos, which assumes 12+ bit color depth and linear "RGB" color space (or whatever we get after demosaicing). jpg and png images typically have only 8-bit color depth (except 16-bit pngs) and the lack of information (dynamic range/activation resolution) may lead to suboptimal results such as posterization. Moreover, jpg and most pngs assume an sRGB color space, which contains a roughly 1/2.2 Gamma correction, making the data distribution different from training images (which are linear). ...
