Simple Video Trimmer

Written in Python, this program uses VLC media player to preview a video, and then it uses FFMPEG with "copy" codec to quickly cut out a segment from the video. VLC seek/jump hotkeys, as well as in/out hotkeys are supported. Currently, it's just in Python (no EXE), but it should be easy to run it from Python. ...Toggles let you determine how specific the matching criteria must be: Track number and song name? Artist, album, and track length? All of the above? Ultimately this program will let you delete duplicates from either the left or right trees, or copy non-duplicated files from one tree to the other. However until the matching code gets a lot more reliable the only action allowed is to export the list of files suspected to be duplicated in both trees. (Prerequisite: uses the `Mutagen' library to process ID3 data and `wx' for the UI.) The latest code is always available via `git' but since there's undoubtedly a lot of bugs right now pre-packaged .ZIP files will only be made available for `big' changes. -

...The small Qt4 dialog has a drop area where you can drag mp3s (from file manager or Amarok, perhaps also other programs) onto it and it will read the ID3 tags and create a sorted folder structure with "Artist - Album" and shows the number of tracks and size it would take. When you are ready filling the collection press OK to copy it. At the moment there aren't many options but I could put some more effort into it, when someone is intereste. -
