libdvdetect provides fast database lookup for DVDs
.... What the library does not provide is DVD ripping and decryption. It reads the structure (e.g. titles and chapters) and generates a special checksum to look up the database. This php script will organize png images for you, auto-rotate them and export as 4-pages-per-page png image files so you can print them out double-sided and then produce a booklet by binding on one edge and cutting the top edges. For a 320-page book, all you need is 40 sheets of paper and decent quality scanned images. Please only use with material you are legally allowed to reproduce. -
