...You need to be able to hack perl code to adapt this script for your own use, otherwise look at program "Rapid Photo Downloader". The initial setup creates folder and file names with date and time, and duration for video; but the point is that you can adapt the code to use any of your files' metadata to build your file names. The metadata are extracted by the excellent ExifTool library. A jpeg thumbnail is optionally stored for each video file. -

It has become too much of a maintenance burden to try to keep up-to-date, so I've decided to archive the repository. Without open source, Shuttle wouldn't exist, and I probably wouldn't be an Android developer. One of my motivations for open sourcing this project is to 'give back'. Maybe Shuttle can be to someone else what Apollo Music Player was to me. The free version includes an option to upgrade via an IAP, which unlocks the features otherwise available in Shuttle+. -
