cdw is a ncurses based front end for command-line tools used to burn data CD/DVD discs, create and burn ISO9660 images, create UDF images, and for related tasks. The tools are: cdrecord/wodim, mkisofs/genisoimage, growisofs, dvd+rw-mediainfo, dvd+rw-format, xorriso, mkudffs. This project has been closed in 2023. Don't expect any updates or bugfixes. isolabel is a program that allows you to change volume label in ISO 9660 image file after it was already created. Moreover, you can specify ISO 9660 and Joliet volume label separately, taking advantage of fancy names in Joliet together with simpler, but longer name in ISO 9660; something that tools like mkisofs/genisoimage does not allow you to do in standard compliant way. This program is written to have minimal software dependency, and work on all platforms. -

ViCuTo cuts video files and tries to limit recoding only to the boundaries of the video segments. You can use segments from different files and add other audio tracks. If the segments are encoded in different codecs ViCuTo recodes them to the codecs of the file that the longest parts of the segments come from, thus avoiding as much recoding as possible. -
