MiNES is an editor for NES ROMs in the iNES format. I wrote MiNES because I needed a portable iNES editor that would allow me to change the PAL/NTSC bit of the iNES header. MiNES follows the Marat Fayzullin's iNES specification, and takes care to not change any unused (reserved for future use) bits. It uses the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) as published by the Federal Information Processing Standards Publications (FIPS PUBS) and issued by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).
