NeReO — News Reader Open-source NeReO is a text-only Usenet newsreader for Android, released under the GNU General Public License v3. The name is an acronym: NE(ws) RE(ader) O(pen-source). WHY IT EXISTS For years the most usable Usenet client on Android was Piao Hong Usenet Client, and later its community-patched build known as the M17 MOD. That branch is no longer maintained, and users of text newsgroups were left with no actively developed, ad-free option. NeReO was written to fill that gap: it keeps the compact, thread-first layout that made Piao Hong pleasant to read, and adds the depth of configuration that desktop readers such as MesNews, slrn and Gnus have always offered. TEXT ONLY, ON PURPOSE NeReO supports discussion groups only. There is no binary download, no attachment handling, no NZB support and no multi-part decoding. Eruda

With Eruda you can display JavaScript logs, check dom state, show requests status, show localStorage, cookie information, show url, user agent info, include snippets used most often, Html, js, css source viewer, and install. The JavaScript file size is quite huge(about 100kb gzipped) and therefore not suitable to include in mobile pages. It's recommended to make sure eruda is loaded only when eruda is set to true. When initialization, a configuration object can be passed in. Container element, if not set, it will append an element directly under html root element. Choose which default tools you want, by default all will be added. There are several available plugins, like eruda-fps, which displays page fps info, eruda-features, which will let you see feature detections, eruda-timing, to show performance and resource timing, eruda-memory, to display page memory info, eruda-code, to run JavaScript code, and many more. -

The repository layer stores Nostr Events as Notes and Users separately. Those classes use LiveData objects to allow the UI and other parts of the app to subscribe to each individual Note/User and receive updates when they happen. They are also responsible for updating viewModels when needed. Filters react to changes in the screen. As the user sees different Events, the Datasource classes are used to receive more information about those particular Events. -
