...Hence, the use of text file for medical data, instead of xml or some database or sql or some hard-to-understand things. Java 8 can be invoked even from usb pen drives. We have used only one .java file which contains the main class. Compiling it yielded only two classes. Thus simplicity is maintained, without any frills. This medical mini dictionary has only some 10,00 sample words, available on internet freely. The data text file and the classes ARE NOT TO BE COMMERCIALISED. User can go on adding his own words by using a text editor such as geany or gedit. -

...For a basic education one needs to have gamma, beta, alpha and neutron sources, at least one detector to detect each type of radiation and other supplemental instrumentation to perform experiments. Although the radiation exposure due to these radioactive sources in an education laboratory is low, shielding and a private secured place is needed.
