    Systems Glycobiology

    Glycosylation Network Analysis Toolbox (GNAT)

GNAT is an open source, platform-independent MATLAB based toolbox. It is written in MATLAB and Java. It has been tested in Windows (Windows 7), Linux (Ubuntu), and Mac OS (X Lion) platforms. The original GNAT package (file GNAT.zip) provides functions for reading, writing, manipulation, visualization and simulation of glycan structures and glycosylation reaction networks (citation [1]). The second version of this software (GNATv2beta.zip) upgrades the original GNAT program with additional features that are geared towards incorporating glycan-structure experimental data into the simulation environment. ...

    Constrained Manipulation Planning Suite

    Constrained Manipulation Planning Suite

    openrave plugins for constrained manipulation

...The planning and inverse kinematics algorithms in this suite are designed for articulated robots like robotic arms and humanoids. CoMPS is implemented in C++ and compiles in linux only. There are also several examples in python and matlab that show how to interface with openrave to use the plugins in CoMPS. It has been tested on all Ubuntu version from the last few years and will probably work with most modern linux distributions. Please see the wiki for installation and examples: https://sourceforge.net/p/comps/wiki/Home/

    SmoothLife

    SmoothLife

A generalization of Conway's Game of Life

Conway's Game of Life is generalized to a continuous domain. OpenGL and GLSL shaders are used for real-time 2D and 3D graphics. Time stepping is done via a real to complex FFT based convolution operation. There are also two deliberately simple test implementations in FreeBasic and Matlab. A 2D version on a sphere shows that it is really not dependent on the underlying grid.
