    GRAMPC

A gradient-based augmented Lagrangian framework for embedded NMPC

GRAMPC is a nonlinear MPC framework that is suitable for dynamical systems with sampling times in the (sub)millisecond range and that allows for an efficient implementation on embedded hardware. The algorithm is based on an augmented Lagrangian formulation with a tailored gradient method for the inner minimization problem. GRAMPC is implemented in plain C with an additional interface to C++ and MATLAB/Simulink. The basic structure and usage of GRAMPC are described in the documentation that comes along with the source files. More details about the algorithm and its performance can be found in the corresponding article published in Optimization and Engeneering. ...

Beyond a Gaussian Denoiser: Residual Learning of Deep CNN

...DnCNN is a feedforward convolutional neural network that learns to predict the residual noise (i.e. noise map) from a noisy input image, which is then subtracted to yield a clean image. This formulation allows efficient denoising, supports blind Gaussian noise (i.e. unknown noise levels), and can be extended to related tasks like image super-resolution or JPEG deblocking in some variants. The repository includes training code (using MatConvNet / MATLAB), demo scripts, pretrained models, and evaluation routines. Single model handling multiple noise levels.

Open source 3D Matlab Isogeometric Analysis Code

Isogeometric analysis (IGA) is a fundamental step forward in computational mechanics that offers the possibility of integrating methods for analysis into Computer Aided Design (CAD) tools and vice versa. The benefits of such an approach are evident, since the time taken from design to analysis is greatly reduced leading to large savings in cost and time for industry. The tight coupling of CAD and analysis within IGA requires knowledge from both fields and it is one of the goals of the...

    Jointly optimized BF Assisted AEC

    Jointly optimized BF Assisted AEC

This project presents a statistical model of a jointly optimized beamformer-assisted acoustic echo canceler (AEC). The constrained joint optimization problem can be formulated so that it becomes equivalent to the linearly-constrained minimum variance problem. The new formulation leads to analytical models that can be used to predict the transient performance of adaptive wideband beamformers. A stochastic model is derived for the transient and steady-state behaviors of the residual echo power. The convergence analysis provides a stability bound for the adaptation step-size. Monte Carlo simulations can be performed to illustrate the accuracy of the model, which can then used to provide design guidelines. ...

DUAL CONSTRAINED TV-BASED REGULARIZATION ON GRAPHS

...In this work, we extend the TV dual framework that includes Chambolle's and Gilboa-Osher's projection algorithms for TV minimization. We use a flexible graph data representation that allows us to generalize the constraint on the projection variable. We show how this new formulation of the TV problem may be solved by means of fast parallel proximal algorithms. On denoising and deblurring examples, the proposed approach is shown not only to perform better than recent TV-based approaches, but also to perform well on arbitrary graphs instead of regular grids. The proposed method consequently applies to a variety of other inverse problems including image fusion and mesh filtering.
