    CGAL

    CGAL

    The Computational Geometry Algorithms Library

CGAL or the Computational Geometry Algorithms Library is a C++ library that gives you easy access to a myriad of efficient and reliable geometric algorithms. These algorithms are useful in a wide range of applications, including computer aided design, robotics, molecular biology, medical imaging, geographic information systems and more. CGAL features a great range of data structures and algorithms, including Voronoi diagrams, cell complexes and polyhedra, triangulations, arrangements of curves, surface and volume mesh generation, spatial searching, alpha shapes, geometry processing, and many more. The use of these result in beautiful, visually complex and accurate representations.

    FieldTrip

    FieldTrip

The MATLAB toolbox for MEG, EEG and iEEG analysis

FieldTrip is the MATLAB software toolbox for MEG, EEG and iEEG analysis, which is released free of charge as open source software under the GNU general public license. FieldTrip is developed by members and collaborators of the Donders Institute for Brain, Cognition, and Behaviour at Radboud University, Nijmegen, the Netherlands. The toolbox offers advanced analysis methods of MEG, EEG, and invasive electrophysiological data, such as time-frequency analysis, source reconstruction using dipoles, distributed sources and beamformers and non-parametric statistical testing. It supports the data formats of all major MEG systems (CTF, Neuromag/Elekta/Megin, BTi/4D, Yokogawa/Ricoh, FieldLine) and of most popular EEG systems, and new formats can be added easily. FieldTrip contains high-level functions that you can use to construct your own analysis protocols in MATLAB. Furthermore, it easily allows methods researchers to incorporate new methods for EEG/MEG analysis.

    GIT quick statistics

    GIT quick statistics

An efficient way to access various statistics in git repository

git-quick-stats is a simple and efficient way to access various statistics in a git repository. Any git repository may contain tons of information about commits, contributors, and files. Extracting this information is not always trivial, mostly because there are a gadzillion options to a gadzillion git commands. For those who prefer to utilize command-line options, git-quick-stats also has a non-interactive mode supporting both short and long options. You can change to the legacy color scheme by toggling the variable _MENU_THEME between default and legacy. You can set variable _GIT_LIMIT for limited output. It will affect the "changelogs" and "branch tree" options. You can also exclude files from the stats. Note that it works with any alphanumeric, glob, or regex that git respects.

    JAX

    JAX

    Composable transformations of Python+NumPy programs

With its updated version of Autograd, JAX can automatically differentiate native Python and NumPy functions. It can differentiate through loops, branches, recursion, and closures, and it can take derivatives of derivatives of derivatives. It supports reverse-mode differentiation (a.k.a. backpropagation) via grad as well as forward-mode differentiation, and the two can be composed arbitrarily to any order. What’s new is that JAX uses XLA to compile and run your NumPy programs on GPUs and TPUs. Compilation happens under the hood by default, with library calls getting just-in-time compiled and executed. But JAX also lets you just-in-time compile your own Python functions into XLA-optimized kernels using a one-function API, jit. Compilation and automatic differentiation can be composed arbitrarily, so you can express sophisticated algorithms and get maximal performance without leaving Python.

    MathFu

    MathFu

C++ math library developed primarily for games focused on simplicity

MathFu is a small, header-only C++ math library optimized for games and real-time graphics on mobile and desktop. It provides fixed-size vector, matrix, and quaternion types with APIs that mirror the operations you actually use in inner loops—dot, cross, normalize, transforms, and projections. Implementations are carefully tuned to leverage SIMD instruction sets such as SSE and NEON while preserving a clean fallback path for portability. Because types are fixed at compile time, the compiler can aggressively inline and unroll code, producing predictable performance and tiny binaries. The design emphasizes minimal dependencies and clear ownership so the library can be embedded into engines without dragging in heavyweight frameworks. It fits equally well in rendering math, physics helpers, animation blending, and camera control logic where determinism and speed matter.

    OR-Tools - Google Optimization Tools

    OR-Tools - Google Optimization Tools

Google's software suite for combinatorial optimization

Google Optimization Tools, also known as OR-Tools is an open-source, fast and portable software suite for solving combinatorial optimization problems. These encompass problems in vehicle routing, flows, integer and linear programming, and constraint programming. This suite contains a number of solvers, namely: a constraint programming solver; a linear programming solver; wrappers for commercial solvers (like Gurobi or CPLEX) and other open source solvers (SCIP, GLPK, etc.); among others. OR-Tools is written in C++, but comes with wrappers for Python, C# and Java. Once you model your problem in your preferred programming language, you can then use any of OR-Tools’ available solvers. OR-Tools is an award-winning project, having won three gold medals in the 2020 MiniZinc Challenge, the international constraint programming competition.

    statsmodels

    statsmodels

Statsmodels, statistical modeling and econometrics in Python

statsmodels is a Python module that provides classes and functions for the estimation of many different statistical models, as well as for conducting statistical tests, and statistical data exploration. An extensive list of result statistics are available for each estimator. The results are tested against existing statistical packages to ensure that they are correct. The package is released under the open source Modified BSD (3-clause) license. Generalized linear models with support for all of the one-parameter exponential family distributions. Markov switching models (MSAR), also known as Hidden Markov Models (HMM). Vector autoregressive models, VAR and structural VAR. Vector error correction model, VECM. Robust linear models with support for several M-estimators. statsmodels supports specifying models using R-style formulas and pandas DataFrames.
