Portable software related to Mersenne numbers. Useful to automate certain tasks related to GIMPS (www.mersenne.org) for computers that cannot run the GIMPS software for whatever reason. Much of the code has been in use since 1990 or so by a few people. The project web site at https://mers.sourceforge.io/mersenne.html has data about Mersenne numbers from many people generated by this and other software, notably from the GIMPS project.

STK++ (http://www.stkpp.org) is a versatile, fast, reliable and elegant collection of C++ classes for statistics, clustering, linear algebra, arrays (with an Eigen-like API), regression, dimension reduction, etc. Some functionalities provided by the library are available in the R environment as R functions (http://cran.at.r-project.org/web/packages/rtkore/index.html). At a convenience, we propose the source packages on sourceforge. PortOpt [Portfolio Optimizer] is a C++ program (with Python binding) implementing the Markowitz(1952) mean-variance model with agent's linear indifference curves toward risk in order to find the optimal assets portfolio under risk. You have to provide PortOpt (in text files or - if you use the api - using your own code) the variance/covariance matrix of the assets, their average returns and the agent risk preference. It returns the vector of assets' shares that composes the optimal portfolio.
