This program is a data visualization and navigation tool using a database created from datasets provided by the Barcelona city council, over a map of the city of Barcelona. The motivation of this program is to help answering questions such as: * What trees are nearby? (from manual location or GPS) * What trees are on a given street? * Where can I find specimens of a certain genus/species? * For each specimen, obtain more information about its species from existing data on Wikipedia and public images.

The aim of Deed Mapper is to provide a relationship map between the parties of legal documents, the properties they relate to and the families that owned them over time. Deeds are often an overlooked resource by family historians. Written in what might seem impenetrable legal language to the researcher and using terms that are unfamiliar in modern usage. This is a mistake as they often provide the framework for putting together family, social and business relationships. They link property to people through business transactions. This “Deed Map” application is built using an Open Source tool TiddlyWiki and a key component TiddlyMap which provides a graphical representation of the relationships.

render(myMap) is a web based system to print high contrast OpenStreetMap maps for surveying an area. It generates an OSM map view that displays all available objects, so that you will know what needs to be mapped and what is already on the map. This Programm gets the Data from Openstreetmap and converts it to an Layerd SVG File for Inkscape. All conversion is don via a stylesheet. Here is defined what schould be shown and how it is displayed. You can get various styled Maps from the same Data with different sytelsheets. The Stylesheets are Javascript files and easy cusomizeable. (You should have a bit knowledge of OSM tags then it will be easyer to understand)
