eGPXviewer is a GPS track viewer capable of summarizing key data of input track GPS series, displaying the track's altitude & speed profile and provide interactive 3D perspective views of it. The GPS track data should be input from a GPX exchange formatted file which is typically obtained by downloading a GPX file from a GPS receiver/tracker (e.g. Garmin™) or an iOS™/Android™ tracker app. The GPX exchange format is a standard output file format available in most GPS tracker devices/applications. It is human readable text file written in XML. The Forestry Commission and Natural England commissioned a bespoke data collection and presentation tool for calculating the potential for increasing the extent of tree cover across the north west of England. The data was divided into sub-regions by landscape type using Natural England's Character Area classifications. The potential within each of these Character Areas was then estimated by working groups of local experts who were capable of making reasoned assessments of both the opportunities and constraints to woodland creation. Subsequently, this project was considerably extended and adopted as a national system. It is currently being used to compile the National Woodland Potential dataset for the whole of England.

Hello. Peter Voise the programmer here. This Is a school example of how to create a hexagon map. It also shows how to measure distances on this map and why the hexagon way and measurement of distances is so superior. It also shows that it is possible to place this grid on a simple coordinate system - x-y- axis. It is the first step - the creation of an interface that later might be used in a strategical game or whatever. Comes with Full Lazarus/Delphi Code. For Educational Purposes! The program is used to create, view and edit tracks(trk) and additional points (wpt) defined in files in GPX format at the background of maps available on the Internet (or locally). You a free to choose map provider, or to define new (local) provider or to use you own background map. It is also used to prepare a hike based on the track - calculate the length, time of passage, add comments, divide the track into stages, prepare a report on (selected) track points, etc. It also has a module for a map printing (also with the track(s)) ,also rotated, as well as the ability to semi-automatically print a series of maps along the track.

World Zoo is a program made by Peter Voise in 2021. Here you buy animals and place them in your own ZOO. Till now only North American, European, African and Australian animals are contained in the project. Planning to expand this later on.
