    Axon

    Axon

    Nx-powered Neural Networks

Nx-powered Neural Networks for Elixir. Axon consists of the following components. Functional API – A low-level API of numerical definitions (defn) of which all other APIs build on. Model Creation API – A high-level model creation API which manages model initialization and application. Optimization API – An API for creating and using first-order optimization techniques based on the Optax library. Training API – An API for quickly training models, inspired by PyTorch Ignite. Axon provides abstractions that enable easy integration while maintaining a level of separation between each component. You should be able to use any of the APIs without dependencies on others. By decoupling the APIs, Axon gives you full control over each aspect of creating and training a neural network. At the lowest-level, Axon consists of a number of modules with functional implementations of common methods in deep learning.

    Azure Machine Learning Python SDK

    Azure Machine Learning Python SDK

Python notebooks with ML and deep learning examples

Azure Machine Learning Python SDK is a curated repository of Python-based Jupyter notebooks that demonstrate how to develop, train, evaluate, and deploy machine learning and deep learning models using the Azure Machine Learning Python SDK. The content spans a wide range of real-world tasks — from foundational quickstarts that teach users how to configure an Azure ML workspace and connect to compute resources, to advanced tutorials on using pipelines, automated machine learning, and dataset handling. Because it is designed to work with Azure Machine Learning compute instances, many notebooks can be executed directly in the cloud without additional setup, but they can also run locally with the appropriate SDK and packages installed. Each notebook includes code, narrative explanations, and example workflows that help users build reproducible machine learning solutions, which are key for operationalizing models in production.

    BEVFormer

    BEVFormer

Implementation of BEVFormer, a camera-only framework

3D visual perception tasks, including 3D detection and map segmentation based on multi-camera images, are essential for autonomous driving systems. In this work, we present a new framework termed BEVFormer, which learns unified BEV representations with spatiotemporal transformers to support multiple autonomous driving perception tasks. In a nutshell, BEVFormer exploits both spatial and temporal information by interacting with spatial and temporal space through predefined grid-shaped BEV queries. To aggregate spatial information, we design spatial cross-attention that each BEV query extracts the spatial features from the regions of interest across camera views. For temporal information, we propose temporal self-attention to recurrently fuse the history BEV information. Our approach achieves the new state-of-the-art 56.9\% in terms of NDS metric on the nuScenes \texttt{test} set, which is 9.0 points higher than previous best arts and on par with the performance of LiDAR-based baseline.

Deep learning gateway on Raspberry Pi and other edge devices

This project turns edge devices such as Raspberry Pi into an intelligent gateway with deep learning running on it. No internet connection is required, everything is done locally on the edge device itself. Further, multiple edge devices can create a distributed AIoT network. At DT42, we believe that bringing deep learning to edge devices is the trend towards the future. It not only saves costs of data transmission and storage but also makes devices able to respond according to the events shown in the images or videos without connecting to the cloud. One of the applications of this intelligent gateway is to use the camera to monitor the place you care about. For example, Figure 3 shows the analyzed results from the camera hosted in the DT42 office. The frames were captured by the IP camera and they were submitted into the AI engine. The output from the AI engine will be shown in the dashboard.

    BetaML.jl

    BetaML.jl

    Beta Machine Learning Toolkit

The Beta Machine Learning Toolkit is a package including many algorithms and utilities to implement machine learning workflows in Julia, Python, R and any other language with a Julia binding. All models are implemented entirely in Julia and are hosted in the repository itself (i.e. they are not wrapper to third-party models). If your favorite option or model is missing, you can try to implement it yourself and open a pull request to share it (see the section Contribute below) or request its implementation. Thanks to its JIT compiler, Julia is indeed in the sweet spot where we can easily write models in a high-level language and still have them running efficiently.

    BitNet

    BitNet

BitNet: Scaling 1-bit Transformers for Large Language Models

BitNet is a machine learning research implementation that explores extremely low-precision neural network architectures designed to dramatically reduce the computational cost of large language models. The project implements the BitNet architecture described in research on scaling transformer models using extremely low-bit quantization techniques. In this approach, neural network weights are quantized to approximately one bit per parameter, allowing models to operate with far lower memory usage than traditional 16-bit or 32-bit neural networks. The architecture introduces specialized layers such as BitLinear, which replace standard linear projections in transformer networks with quantized operations. By limiting weight precision while maintaining efficient scaling and normalization strategies, the architecture aims to retain competitive performance while significantly reducing hardware requirements.

    Black Hole Cortex

Sphere surface layers of visual cortex approach maximum info density

Near the surface (even horizon) of a black hole, there is maximum information density in units of squared plancks (and some translation to qubits). Similarly, our imagination is the set of all possible things we can draw onto our most dense layer of visual cortex in electricity patterns. Bigger layers have more neurons to handle those possibilities. A Black Hole Cortex is a kind of visual cortex that has density of neuron layers similar to density at various radius from a black hole. What we think our eyes see, the imagination, is the densest and smallest layer. SphereSurfaces outside it recursively have more neurons, more surface area, but less density since it has to eventually dimension-reduce to high level ideas, like there are 10000 Wikipedia page names that cover most parts of the world. We can think of Wikipedia as a layer above our brains, a global SphereSurface of large surface area (a cortex layered on billions of minds) and small (10000 most important pages) density.

    Bolt ML

    Bolt ML

10x faster matrix and vector operations

Bolt is an open-source research project focused on accelerating machine learning and data mining workloads through efficient vector compression and approximate computation techniques. The core idea behind Bolt is to compress large collections of dense numeric vectors and perform mathematical operations directly on the compressed representations instead of decompressing them first. This approach significantly reduces both memory usage and computational overhead when working with high-dimensional data commonly used in machine learning systems. Bolt is particularly useful in applications such as similarity search, approximate nearest neighbor queries, and large-scale matrix computations where millions of vectors must be processed efficiently. The project includes algorithms designed to accelerate operations such as dot products and distance calculations, which are central to many machine learning tasks.

    Book6_First-Course-in-Data-Science

    Book6_First-Course-in-Data-Science

From Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, and Division to ML

Book6_First-Course-in-Data-Science is an open-source educational project that serves as part of the “Iris Book” series focused on teaching data science and machine learning concepts through a combination of mathematics, programming, and visualization. The repository contains draft chapters, supporting Python code, and visual materials designed to guide readers from basic mathematical operations toward practical machine learning understanding. The goal of the project is to make complex topics such as statistics, algorithms, and data analysis more accessible to learners by breaking concepts into clear explanations supported by code examples and diagrams. The material emphasizes a learning approach that combines theoretical knowledge with hands-on experimentation, often recommending interactive tools such as Jupyter notebooks to explore the ideas presented in the book.
