    ONNX

    ONNX

Open standard for machine learning interoperability

ONNX is an open format built to represent machine learning models. ONNX defines a common set of operators - the building blocks of machine learning and deep learning models - and a common file format to enable AI developers to use models with a variety of frameworks, tools, runtimes, and compilers. Open Neural Network Exchange (ONNX) is an open ecosystem that empowers AI developers to choose the right tools as their project evolves. ONNX provides an open source format for AI models, both deep learning and traditional ML. It defines an extensible computation graph model, as well as definitions of built-in operators and standard data types. Currently we focus on the capabilities needed for inferencing (scoring). ONNX is widely supported and can be found in many frameworks, tools, and hardware. Enabling interoperability between different frameworks and streamlining the path from research to production helps increase the speed of innovation in the AI community.

    Teachable Machine

    Teachable Machine

Explore how machine learning works, live in the browser

Teachable Machine is the open-source implementation of an experimental machine learning tool created by Google Creative Lab that allows users to train simple machine learning models directly in a web browser. The project demonstrates how neural networks can be trained interactively using images captured from a webcam or other inputs without requiring programming knowledge. Users can provide example images for different categories, and the system trains a model that learns to classify those inputs in real time. The project is built using web technologies and the TensorFlow.js ecosystem, enabling machine learning models to run locally within the browser environment. Because the training occurs locally, the system can respond quickly to new examples and provide immediate feedback to users.

    Gradio

    Gradio

Create UIs for your machine learning model in Python in 3 minutes

Gradio is the fastest way to demo your machine learning model with a friendly web interface so that anyone can use it, anywhere! Gradio can be installed with pip. Creating a Gradio interface only requires adding a couple lines of code to your project. You can choose from a variety of interface types to interface your function. Gradio can be embedded in Python notebooks or presented as a webpage. A Gradio interface can automatically generate a public link you can share with colleagues that lets them interact with the model on your computer remotely from their own devices. Once you've created an interface, you can permanently host it on Hugging Face. Hugging Face Spaces will host the interface on its servers and provide you with a link you can share. One of the best ways to share your machine learning model, API, or data science workflow with others is to create an interactive demo that allows your users or colleagues to try out the demo in their browsers.

    AIMET

    AIMET

AIMET is a library that provides advanced quantization and compression

Qualcomm Innovation Center (QuIC) is at the forefront of enabling low-power inference at the edge through its pioneering model-efficiency research. QuIC has a mission to help migrate the ecosystem toward fixed-point inference. With this goal, QuIC presents the AI Model Efficiency Toolkit (AIMET) - a library that provides advanced quantization and compression techniques for trained neural network models. AIMET enables neural networks to run more efficiently on fixed-point AI hardware accelerators. Quantized inference is significantly faster than floating point inference. For example, models that we’ve run on the Qualcomm® Hexagon™ DSP rather than on the Qualcomm® Kryo™ CPU have resulted in a 5x to 15x speedup. Plus, an 8-bit model also has a 4x smaller memory footprint relative to a 32-bit model. However, often when quantizing a machine learning model (e.g., from 32-bit floating point to an 8-bit fixed point value), the model accuracy is sacrificed.

    CUTLASS

    CUTLASS

CUDA Templates for Linear Algebra Subroutines

CUTLASS is a collection of CUDA C++ template abstractions for implementing high-performance matrix-multiplication (GEMM) and related computations at all levels and scales within CUDA. It incorporates strategies for hierarchical decomposition and data movement similar to those used to implement cuBLAS and cuDNN. CUTLASS decomposes these "moving parts" into reusable, modular software components abstracted by C++ template classes. These thread-wide, warp-wide, block-wide, and device-wide primitives can be specialized and tuned via custom tiling sizes, data types, and other algorithmic policy. The resulting flexibility simplifies their use as building blocks within custom kernels and applications. To support a wide variety of applications, CUTLASS provides extensive support for mixed-precision computations, providing specialized data-movement and multiply-accumulate abstractions for half-precision floating point (FP16), BFloat16 (BF16), Tensor Float 32 (TF32), etc.

    OpenCLIP

    OpenCLIP

An open source implementation of CLIP

The goal of this repository is to enable training models with contrastive image-text supervision and to investigate their properties such as robustness to distribution shift. Our starting point is an implementation of CLIP that matches the accuracy of the original CLIP models when trained on the same dataset. Specifically, a ResNet-50 model trained with our codebase on OpenAI's 15 million image subset of YFCC achieves 32.7% top-1 accuracy on ImageNet. OpenAI's CLIP model reaches 31.3% when trained on the same subset of YFCC. For ease of experimentation, we also provide code for training on the 3 million images in the Conceptual Captions dataset, where a ResNet-50x4 trained with our codebase reaches 22.2% top-1 ImageNet accuracy. This codebase is work in progress, and we invite all to contribute in making it more accessible and useful. In the future, we plan to add support for TPU training and release larger models. We hope this codebase facilitates and promotes further research.

    Fashion-MNIST

    Fashion-MNIST

    A MNIST-like fashion product database

Fashion-MNIST is an open-source dataset created by Zalando Research that provides a standardized benchmark for image classification algorithms in machine learning. The dataset contains grayscale images of fashion products such as shirts, shoes, coats, and bags, each labeled according to its clothing category. It was designed as a direct replacement for the original MNIST handwritten digits dataset, maintaining the same structure and image size so that researchers could easily switch datasets without modifying their experimental pipelines. The dataset consists of 70,000 images in total, with 60,000 examples used for training and 10,000 reserved for testing. Each image has a resolution of 28 by 28 pixels and belongs to one of ten clothing classes, making it suitable for evaluating classification models. Because the dataset represents real-world objects rather than handwritten digits, it offers a more challenging benchmark for testing machine learning algorithms.

    Materials Discovery: GNoME

AI discovers 520000 stable inorganic crystal structures for research

Materials Discovery (GNoME) is a large-scale research initiative by Google DeepMind focused on applying graph neural networks to accelerate the discovery of stable inorganic crystal materials. The project centers on Graph Networks for Materials Exploration (GNoME), a message-passing neural network architecture trained on density functional theory (DFT) data to predict material stability and energy formation. Using GNoME, DeepMind identified 381,000 new stable materials, later expanding the dataset to include over 520,000 materials within 1 meV/atom of the convex hull as of August 2024. The repository provides datasets, model definitions, and interactive Colabs for exploring these materials, computing decomposition energies, and visualizing chemical families. Additionally, it includes JAX-based implementations of GNoME and Nequip—the latter being used to train interatomic potentials for dynamic simulations.
