    MODLEM

    MODLEM

rule-based, WEKA compatible, Machine Learning algorithm

This project is a WEKA (Waikato Environment for Knowledge Analysis) compatible implementation of MODLEM - a Machine Learning algorithm which induces minimum set of rules. These rules can be adopted as a classifier (in terms of ML). It is a sequential covering algorithm, which was invented to cope with numeric data without discretization. Actually the nominal and numeric attributes are treated in the same way: attribute's space is being searched to find the best rule condition during rule induction. In result numeric attribute's conditions are more precise and closely describe the class. This algorithm contains some aspects of Rough Set Theory: the class definition can be described accordingly to its lower or upper approximation. For more information, see: Stefanowski, Jerzy. The rough set based rule induction technique for classification problems. In: Proc. 6th European Congress on Intelligent Techniques and Soft Computing, vol. 1. Aachen, 1998. s. 109-113.

    AI Explainability 360

    AI Explainability 360

Interpretability and explainability of data and machine learning model

The AI Explainability 360 toolkit is an open-source library that supports the interpretability and explainability of datasets and machine learning models. The AI Explainability 360 Python package includes a comprehensive set of algorithms that cover different dimensions of explanations along with proxy explainability metrics. The AI Explainability 360 interactive experience provides a gentle introduction to the concepts and capabilities by walking through an example use case for different consumer personas. The tutorials and example notebooks offer a deeper, data scientist-oriented introduction. The complete API is also available. There is no single approach to explainability that works best. There are many ways to explain: data vs. model, directly interpretable vs. post hoc explanation, local vs. global, etc. It may therefore be confusing to figure out which algorithms are most appropriate for a given use case.

    AliceMind

ALIbaba's Collection of Encoder-decoders from MinD

This repository provides pre-trained encoder-decoder models and its related optimization techniques developed by Alibaba's MinD (Machine IntelligeNce of Damo) Lab. Pre-trained models for natural language understanding (NLU). We extend BERT to a new model, StructBERT, by incorporating language structures into pre-training. Specifically, we pre-train StructBERT with two auxiliary tasks to make the most of the sequential order of words and sentences, which leverage language structures at the word and sentence levels, respectively. Pre-trained models for natural language generation (NLG). We propose a novel scheme that jointly pre-trains an autoencoding and autoregressive language model on a large unlabeled corpus, specifically designed for generating new text conditioned on context. It achieves new SOTA results in several downstream tasks.

    Alphafold2

    Alphafold2

Unofficial Pytorch implementation / replication of Alphafold2

To eventually become an unofficial working Pytorch implementation of Alphafold2, the breathtaking attention network that solved CASP14. Will be gradually implemented as more details of the architecture is released. Once this is replicated, I intend to fold all available amino acid sequences out there in-silico and release it as an academic torrent, to further science. Deepmind has open sourced the official code in Jax, along with the weights! This repository will now be geared towards a straight pytorch translation with some improvements on positional encoding. lhatsk has reported training a modified trunk of this repository, using the same setup as trRosetta, with competitive results. The underlying assumption is that the trunk works on the residue level, and then constitutes to atomic level for the structure module, whether it be SE3 Transformers, E(n)-Transformer, or EGNN doing the refinement.

    Bootstrap Your Own Latent (BYOL)

    Bootstrap Your Own Latent (BYOL)

Usable Implementation of "Bootstrap Your Own Latent" self-supervised

Practical implementation of an astoundingly simple method for self-supervised learning that achieves a new state-of-the-art (surpassing SimCLR) without contrastive learning and having to designate negative pairs. This repository offers a module that one can easily wrap any image-based neural network (residual network, discriminator, policy network) to immediately start benefitting from unlabelled image data. There is now new evidence that batch normalization is key to making this technique work well. A new paper has successfully replaced batch norm with group norm + weight standardization, refuting that batch statistics are needed for BYOL to work. Simply plugin your neural network, specifying (1) the image dimensions as well as (2) the name (or index) of the hidden layer, whose output is used as the latent representation used for self-supervised training.

    CFNet

    CFNet

Training a Correlation Filter end-to-end allows lightweight networks

CFNet is the official implementation of End-to-end representation learning for Correlation Filter based tracking (CVPR 2017) by Luca Bertinetto, Jack Valmadre, João F. Henriques, Andrea Vedaldi, and Philip H. S. Torr. The framework combines correlation filters with deep convolutional neural networks to create an efficient and accurate visual object tracker. Unlike traditional correlation filter trackers that rely on hand-crafted features, CFNet learns feature representations directly from data in an end-to-end fashion. This allows the tracker to be both computationally efficient and robust to appearance changes such as scale, rotation, and illumination variations. The repository provides pre-trained models, training code, and testing scripts for evaluating the tracker on standard benchmarks. By bridging the gap between correlation filters and deep learning, CFNet provides a foundation for further research in real-time object tracking.

    CNN Explainer

    CNN Explainer

Learning Convolutional Neural Networks with Interactive Visualization

In machine learning, a classifier assigns a class label to a data point. For example, an image classifier produces a class label (e.g, bird, plane) for what objects exist within an image. A convolutional neural network, or CNN for short, is a type of classifier, which excels at solving this problem! A CNN is a neural network: an algorithm used to recognize patterns in data. Neural Networks in general are composed of a collection of neurons that are organized in layers, each with their own learnable weights and biases. Let’s break down a CNN into its basic building blocks. A tensor can be thought of as an n-dimensional matrix. In the CNN above, tensors will be 3-dimensional with the exception of the output layer. A neuron can be thought of as a function that takes in multiple inputs and yields a single output. The outputs of neurons are represented above as the red → blue activation maps.

    Caffe Framework

    Caffe Framework

Caffe, a fast open framework for deep learning

Caffe is a deep learning framework made with expression, speed, and modularity in mind. It is developed by Berkeley AI Research (BAIR) and by community contributors. Yangqing Jia created the project during his PhD at UC Berkeley. Caffe is released under the BSD 2-Clause license. Expressive architecture encourages application and innovation. Models and optimization are defined by configuration without hard-coding. Switch between CPU and GPU by setting a single flag to train on a GPU machine then deploy to commodity clusters or mobile devices. Extensible code fosters active development. In Caffe’s first year, it has been forked by over 1,000 developers and had many significant changes contributed back. Thanks to these contributors the framework tracks the state-of-the-art in both code and models.

    Caffe2

    Caffe2

Caffe2 is a lightweight, modular, and scalable deep learning framework

Caffe2 is a lightweight, modular, and scalable deep learning framework. Building on the original Caffe, Caffe2 is designed with expression, speed, and modularity in mind. Caffe2 is a deep learning framework that provides an easy and straightforward way for you to experiment with deep learning and leverage community contributions of new models and algorithms. You can bring your creations to scale using the power of GPUs in the cloud or to the masses on mobile with Caffe2’s cross-platform libraries. Modularity and being designed for both scale and mobile deployments are the high-level answers to the first question. In many ways Caffe2 is an un-framework because it is so flexible and modular. The original Caffe framework was useful for large-scale product use cases, especially with its unparalleled performance and well tested C++ codebase. Caffe has some design choices that are inherited from its original use case: conventional CNN applications.

    ChainerCV

    ChainerCV

ChainerCV: a Library for Deep Learning in Computer Vision

ChainerCV is a collection of tools to train and run neural networks for computer vision tasks using Chainer. In ChainerCV, we define the object detection task as a problem of, given an image, bounding box-based localization and categorization of objects. Bounding boxes in an image are represented as a two-dimensional array of shape (R,4), where R is the number of bounding boxes and the second axis corresponds to the coordinates of bounding boxes. ChainerCV supports dataset loaders, which can be used to easily index examples with list-like interfaces. Dataset classes whose names end with BboxDataset contain annotations of where objects locate in an image and which categories they are assigned to. These datasets can be indexed to return a tuple of an image, bounding boxes and labels. ChainerCV provides several network implementations that carry out object detection.

    ChatterBot

    ChatterBot

Machine learning, conversational dialog engine for creating chat bots

ChatterBot is a Python library that makes it easy to generate automated responses to a user’s input. ChatterBot uses a selection of machine learning algorithms to produce different types of responses. This makes it easy for developers to create chat bots and automate conversations with users. For more details about the ideas and concepts behind ChatterBot see the process flow diagram. The language independent design of ChatterBot allows it to be trained to speak any language. Additionally, the machine-learning nature of ChatterBot allows an agent instance to improve it’s own knowledge of possible responses as it interacts with humans and other sources of informative data. An untrained instance of ChatterBot starts off with no knowledge of how to communicate. Each time a user enters a statement, the library saves the text that they entered and the text that the statement was in response to. As ChatterBot receives more input the number of responses that it can reply increase.

    CleverHans

    CleverHans

An adversarial example library for constructing attacks

This repository contains the source code for CleverHans, a Python library to benchmark machine learning systems' vulnerability to adversarial examples. You can learn more about such vulnerabilities on the accompanying blog. The CleverHans library is under continual development, always welcoming contributions of the latest attacks and defenses. In particular, we always welcome help with resolving the issues currently open. Since v4.0.0, CleverHans supports 3 frameworks: JAX, PyTorch, and TF2. We are currently prioritizing implementing attacks in PyTorch, but we very much welcome contributions for all 3 frameworks. In versions v3.1.0 and prior, CleverHans supported TF1; the code for v3.1.0 can be found under cleverhans_v3.1.0/ or by checking out a prior Github release. The library focuses on providing a reference implementation of attacks against machine learning models to help with benchmarking models against adversarial examples.
