    Simple, effective algebra trainer

    Creep

    Creep

a pretty sweet 4px wide pixel font

...I also recently added some nice Haskell features (that can be used in other languages too)! Creep has most of the basic box drawing characters implemented. Therefore creep usually works with most ncurses-type programs or with tmux window-splitting for example. Creep supports all the symbols needed for Lokaltog's awesome powerline plugin for vim. Creep has the necessary symbols for creating sparklines. This is cool for tools like rainbarf and others. I've added support for a better-looking Haskell syntax. Take a look at the Haskell wiki page to get an idea of how it looks and how to use it in vim.

    Scripted Testing

Base support for Tcl-based testing in Ada

...Generally, the system will be constructed using a layered approach, and the other parts of the system that interact with the SUT are higher-level (which can call interface subprograms presented by the SUT) or lower-level (whose interfaces can be called by the SUT, or which can provide callbacks to the SUT). This package is intended for testing at a level between unit testing (using, for example, AUnit) and integration testing (using real hardware). Unit testing tends to be fragile, requiring a lot of rework for even minor functional changes in the requirements. The scripting language supported is Tcl, and specifically the Ada binding TclAdaShell.

    TextHunter

User friendly toolkit to extract structured data from free text.

TextHunter is being developed to support researchers who need to extract information from large volumes of free text. For example, in epidemiology, clinical researchers often need to review large numbers of electronic medical records to identify variables that describe the patient (symptomatology, medication status etc). This often a tedious process, increasing the difficulty and cost of research. To address this, TextHunter provides two key tools: - An efficient annotation interface to help rapidly code large volumes of documents - A means to automatically generate information extraction algorithms, so that manual review of the entire document set is unnecessary Designed to run on desktop hardware, TextHunter is already being used in the UK Mental Health Biomedical Research centre (http://brc.slam.nhs.uk/) to speed research in several major projects. ...

    LGML

    LGPL GML parser

...The caller can choose if the input coordinates are parsed as X, Y, Z (if present) order, or Y, X, Z (if present) order. The willing of the project is to be a starting point useful for developers that need to parse GML objects in order to use them, for example, in the context of OGC catalogue projects. The library is compiled using Java 1.5 or 1.6. For now, supported inputs are: LineString, MultiLineString, MultiPoint, MultiPolygon, Point, Polygon, MultiSurface (in an experimental way: the only child object handled is Polygon). At the following URL: http://95.110.227.201:8080/lgml is exposed a minimal web interface in order to test it.

    OGFEM1d

A simple one-dimensional example of the OGFEM

We apply the Orthonormalized Generalized Finite Element Method (OGFEM) to the one-dimensional inhomogeneous modified Helmholtz equation and compare its performance with the traditional Finite Element Method (FEM). The OGFEM avoids loss of accuracy by modifying the basis such that it results in a system matrix with a condition number which is significantly lower in comparison with the condition numbers obtained by the GFEM/XFEM or SGFEM/SXFEM. Consequently, enriched basis functions can be...

    printfe

    An extensible version of printf

...The package already includes five extensions: =b Binary numbers =B Boolean (true/false) values =I IPV4 Internet addresses =M 6 byte MAC addresses =Z Output a user defined EOL sequence As you might guess, extension formats are preceded by '='. The normal rules for format qualifiers apply to the extended formats as well. For example: printfe("***%16=I***",0xFFFFFFFF); would output: *** 255.255.255.255*** The code also supports the non-standard flag (apostrophe) for inserting commas into numeric output. There is a printfe version of all the standard printf functions, using the same arguments and giving the same return value.
