    Pulsar framework

    Pulsar framework

Event driven concurrent framework for Python

Event-driven concurrent framework for Python. Pulsar's goal is to provide an easy way to build scalable network programs. In the Hello world! webserver example above, many client connections can be handled concurrently. Pulsar tells the operating system (through epoll or select) that it should be notified when a new connection is made, and then it goes to sleep. Pulsar uses the asyncio module from the standard python library and it can be configured to run in multi-processing mode. The http client maintains connections alive (by default 15 seconds) and therefore any requests that you make within a session will automatically reuse the appropriate connection. ...

    FSM: Font System Manager

FSM is a tool designed to bridge the gap between ImageMagick & paperjs

ImageMagick and browser-based tools such as paperjs use very different engines for font rendering. This makes it difficult to reproduce accurately effects, for example, in video projects where the placement of text, sub-images, etc needs to be tested before production. While paperjs will render a scene in a browser context, it cannot be used in production, where ImageMagick is necessary. FSM allows for the classification of usable fonts for both these interfaces, accurate measurement of font dimensions such as descender, bearing, and extended bearing, and the means for translating between the differing font description systems used. ...

    Unofficial Discord 3DS Client

    Unofficial Discord 3DS Client

A simple unofficial Discord client to use as an example

...Also please, notice that this is not an official Discord client, and is not made by the Discord staff. I noticed that a few Discord clients for consoles were using the Discord API incorrectly causing huge issues for those clients. So, I decided to make this as an example of how I think it should have been done. First, you need a token to an account that you own, because Discord doesn't want people asking for passwords. Anyway, place this into a file called discord token.txt in the root of your sd card.

    Mathematica-SPICE

    Mathematica-SPICE

Call SPICE from Mathematica to enable advanced circuit optimization

This project connects the ubiquitous circuit simulation software, SPICE, with the powerful tools of Mathematica. This allows the optimization of circuits based on arbitrarily complex criteria. For example, automatically tune component values to match a desired filter profile. Tweak a circuit to maximize its efficiency. Match a circuit's output to an arbitrary waveform. As long as you can quantify your goal as a fitness function, you can automate the search for the optimal component specs.

    Attabench

    Attabench

Microbenchmarking app for Swift with nice log-log plots

Attabench is a microbenchmarking app for macOS, designed to measure and visualize the performance of Swift code. This app is for microbenchmarking low-level algorithms with one degree of freedom (usually size). It works by repeatedly performing the same operation on random data of various sizes, while continuously charting the results in nice plots. Attabench's default log-log plots are ideal for seeing your algorithm's performance at a glance. Attabench was originally created to supply nice...

    apicache

    apicache

    Simple API-caching middleware for Express/Node

...All req/res attributes used in the generation of the key must have been set previously (upstream). The entire route logic block is skipped on future cache hits so it can't rely on those parameters. Oftentimes it benefits us to group cache entries, for example, by collection (in an API). This would enable us to clear all cached "post" requests if we updated something in the "post" collection for instance. When sharing GET routes between admin and public sites, you'll likely want the routes to be cached from your public client, but NOT cached when from the admin client.

    TopoJSON

    TopoJSON

An extension of GeoJSON that encodes topology

TopoJSON eliminates redundancy, allowing related geometries to be stored efficiently in the same file. For example, the shared boundary between California and Nevada is represented only once, rather than being duplicated for both states. A single TopoJSON file can contain multiple feature collections without duplication, such as states and counties. Or, a TopoJSON file can efficiently represent both polygons (for fill) and boundaries (for stroke) as two feature collections that share the same arc mesh. ...
