PurePostPro is a utility that is run via the PureFTPd uploadscript facility. It's one solution to centrally handling uploads from a number of users, and extensive logging is provided by a Perl+MySQL combination. The key feature of the software is that duplicate files should be detected, and incoming files have an MD5 checksum automatically generated. All upload details, including timestamp, uploaded-by, checksum, filename and location are all stored in a 2-table database. The software should not impact the FTP server software as it is run separately. Coming soon will be a complementary application that will run as a daemon and scan the logging database on a regular basis. Specific processing/handling will be available on a per-user basis. The package includes all documentation and scripts to help set up the MySQL database. The script is easy to configure for your own needs. Some Perl DBI knowledge is useful if you intend to modify the script, but not essential.

A wrapper for Python's standard logging module to provide a file-like interface. Allows legacy code that wishes to log to a file (including stdout and stderr) to use the logger facility.

PyLogAnalyzer is a tool that receives an input log in black and white, a configuration INI file, which contains the list of rules to process the input, and an output file where to save the results. These rules permit to detect an input line according to a regular expression (regex) or line number range, filter it, pass it, colorise in foreground and background, columnise the groups of the regex and enable or disable the rule. The final goal of this tool is to ameliorate reading long and difficult b/w logs, speed up the analysis and enhance day to day wearying activities. Or conversely applications cannot perform their duties with an adequate performance due to lack of appropriate resources resulting in errors, slowdown… This project develops an application that provides monitoring work of the system distinguishing by applications, allowing the user to interact dynamically with the interface, displaying the information in a simple, graphic and accurate way. The developed application integrates perfectly in the Microsoft environment using available tools to extract data of the system in an optimal way.

This project was written in C++ using MS MFC. So, it is built only for Windows using VC++ .NET. The application indexes the windows file system into a readable listing. This is useful for things like FTP servers to show file listings in their root.
