...If you're using a ZSH plugin manager, you can install kubetail as a plugin. kubetail itself doesn't have filtering or highlighting capabilities built in. If you're on MacOSX I recommend using iTerm2 which allows for continuous highlighting of search terms, good scrolling capabilities, and multitab arrangements. Another useful feature of iTerm2 is the "timeline" (cmd + shift + e) which lets you display a timeline in your own local timezone next to the logs (that are typically in UTC). -

NXLog is a modular, multi-threaded, high-performance log management solution with multi-platform support. In concept it is similar to syslog-ng or rsyslog but is not limited to unix/syslog only. SarBox helps user to parse or analyze sar data
...SAR is cumulative activity counters in the operating system. It is the most comprehensive command which helps to monitor performance of various Linux / Solaris subsystems (CPU, Memory, I/O, Disk, Network, etc) all in same log. This makes it difficult to analyze since every counter data is dumped into the log file. SarBox helps to analyze this log file and present data in graphical charts or text format. To collect sar statistics from an environment, use below syntax [user@host ~]# sar -A 30 2 > sar_linux.log “30 2” reports for every 30 seconds and total of 2 times, written in sar_linux.log. -

Windows Tail is a Windows version of Unix and Linux tail command. Tail for Windows. I wanted to make it easier to use tail in the windows environment. You can even add it to the open with dialog in windows explorer. This is great tool if you need to monitor log files. Now: Create Application Alerts! Email Alerts and SMS Alerts using SMTP! With Log4J and the Java logging framework being floodgate-based, I personally still see the need for a bit-masked logging framework, where you not only have categories but actual event types instead of event levels. This will be that framework.

This tool is generating a logfile from notifies that amavis sends, so that statistics can be generated. Another advantage of this type of logging is that i can create a central log in a multi-server setup. amavis, amavisd and amavisd-new are supported.

This module has been written to parse *Radius Accounting* detail files. I only have copies of those generated by the *Ascend* Radius server, so I don't know if it is compatible with other Radius versions.
