    Unitful.jl

    Unitful.jl

    Physical quantities with arbitrary units

Unitful is a Julia package for physical units. We want to support not only SI units but also any other unit system. We also want to minimize or in some cases eliminate the run-time penalty of units. There should be facilities for dimensional analysis. All of this should integrate easily with the usual mathematical operations and collections that are found in Julia base.

    XRD CUBIC

    XRD CUBIC

    Simulate crystal cell length (a), Miller indices {h, k, l}, d-spacing

...It can simulate all these possible crystal lattice parameters for cubic crystal systems between the given 2–theta values within the range of specified cell length (a) limits. 1. Enter wavelength of X-ray (in Angstroms) 2. Enter minimum and maximum diffraction angle as 2-theta (in Degrees) 3. Enter minimum and maximum unit cell length (in Angstroms) All the possible cubic crystal parameters, as well as diffraction angle with reference to d-spacing between the given Miller indices (h k l planes), will be simulated. ...

    WaveAdd

    WaveAdd

Adds two waves to show beats, standing waves, etc.

A simulation that adds two waves (longitudinal or transverse... sine, square, or triangle) and shows their sum. Each wave's frequency, wavelength, speed, amplitude, shape, and orientation can be changed on the fly. Easily show superposition, beats, and standing waves. Constantly updated values for x position, y position, velocity, and acceleration describe each wave, and their sum. Unit circles show the formation of transverse sine waves. If there are two such waves, their phase angle can be shown. ...

    ColorApplet

    Qt Applet for color conversion

Qt Applet for color conversion between different spaces (XYZ, xyz, L*U*V*, LAB (Hunter), L*A*B*, RGB, sRGB, Adobe RGB, YIQ, Y'UV). Gives the color for a Black Body at a given temperature. Plots the chromaticity diagram and gives an approximation of the dominant wavelength and purity. Plots the histograms for an input image in a given color space.

    Resultant wave

    Resultant wave

R.W. is a physics program that shows the resultant of two waves

Resultant wave is a physics program designed to let you see the resultant of 2 waves traveling in opposite directions. It lets you choose the wavelength and amplitude to see the effect on the resultant and allows the creation of stationary waves among others. Resultant wave has numerous visual display options to allow for clarity. If you found this program helpful please take a moment of your time to review it for others.

    iCorrector

A program for interference effects correction in PL excitation spectra

The iCorrector is aimed to model and correct the interference fringes affecting the photoluminescence excitation spectra of thin-film dielectric samples. The calculations of the interference profile are performed taking into account the experimental conditions: excitation light incidence angle, wavelength range, luminescent centers distribution. An excitation field depth distribution map (*.bmp), normally calculated by the IMD software (D.L. Windt) is required for the calculations. The module is presented both as LabVIEW virtual instrument and executable requiring LabVIEW runtime (http://joule.ni.com/nidu/cds/view/p/id/2534/lang/en). ...

    Pyanpha

    Pyanpha

A python program to use multiwavelength anomalous surface diffraction

pyanpha is a shell-based program, which applies the multi-wavelength anomalous diffraction technique to Surface Diffraction. It enables one to calculate the phases of the structure factors of crystal truncation rods when anomalous scatterers are present in the thin film. Functionality extends to standalone simulations. It was coined pyanpha which is an acronym for PYthon ANomalous PHAsing and it is written in python.
