This project has a lively SVN repository for build recipes, over 1000 F/OSS softwares are available. The tool "pkgbuild" is for building packages on Solaris 11/OpenIndiana from RPM-like spec files. The tool also runs on OmniOS. If you want, you can create new style IPS packages and old style SVR4 packages for Solaris 10. The tool is not updated frequently, but the following "build recipes" for pkgbuild is updated every day. For a few hundred build-recipes see the sub-project "spec-files-extra" or "SFE". ...

    Yay

    Yay

An AUR Helper written in Go

...If you transition between aur helpers and did not install the devel package using yay at some point, it is possible it never got added to the cache. yay -Y --gendb will fix the current version of every devel package and start checking from there. Yay resolves all dependencies ahead of time. You are free to edit the PKGBUILD in any way, but any problems you cause are your own and should not be reported unless they can be reproduced with the original PKGBUILD. Yay uses git diff to display diffs, which by default tells less not to page if the output can fit into one terminal length. This behavior can be overridden by exporting your own flags (export LESS=SRX). ...

    Cagebreak

A Wayland Tiling Compositor Inspired by Ratpoison

Cagebreak is a Wayland tiling compositor based on Cage and inspired by Ratpoison. This project provides a successor to Ratpoison for Wayland. However, this is no reimplementation of Ratpoison. Cagebreak supports Arch Linux and uses the libraries and versions from extra and core at the time of release. Most other setups work with a bit of luck. SALEM (Saints and Sinners II)

    SALEM (Saints and Sinners II)

Arch-based Witch City Linux w/Salem, the WCL Desktop Environment.

Salem is the Witch City Linux Desktop Environment, which is probably selling itself short. It's my personal vision of how a desktop session should operate, with a bunch of different ideas about startup. I created it for myself, I share it with the world. I began coding it in Salem, Mass; hence, the name. The current branch is named "Saints and Sinners," Witch City Linux is an Arch Linux package build that installs all the program that make up my Linux system, plus Salem. It's a...

    Paperboy

    Paperboy

a small .pdf management tool with a command-line UI

...Paperboy keeps its file management dumb on purpose (no keeping files in a database or hidden library folder), so you can uninstall it at any time and your files will remain perfectly accessible. Any pointers or help with regards to generate .deb, .rpm, AUR PKGBUILD, etc is appreciated. Ideally this could be mostly automated in CI, in the end Paperboy is just a single binary with a dependency or two. How do other packages do it? If you got a good example or link, open a GitHub issue! Make sure you have poppler installed, which will provide both pdftotext and pdfinfo.
