The goal of the project is the realization of a modular firmware that allows to control a CNC machine with different utensils. For instance, a CNC with a drill, with few changes can become a plotter with a pen or cutting machine to cut cardboard or stickers. The PyPES library is a python-based library of high quality semi-global potential energy surfaces for 50 molecules, each containing 3-6 atoms. The PyPES code enables the generation of energy derivatives to 6th order about any point on the potential energy surface in a range of common coordinate systems, including curvilinear internal, Cartesian and normal mode coordinates. For portability, FORTRAN, C, MATLAB and Mathematica wrappers are provided to interface with PyPES, reading in PyPES-generated Cartesian and normal mode derivative data via a text interface. -

AvRtos provides message queues and semaphores for task synchronization. It uses a static memory allocation scheme. AvRtos is nearly the smallest RTOS out there. Even pico]OS is much bigger. AvRtos can be compiled using gcc compiler. There is a AvrStudio 4 and Eclipse project file to get the example code working very quickly. -
