This is an adventure which I found in an old Basic book "Creating Adventure Games on your Computer" by Tim Hartnell (1983) http://www.atariarchives.org/adventure/ http://www.atariarchives.org/adventure/chapter22.php I converted it to C++ It runs in a terminal window on Linux, Windows and MacOSX.
