There are various attempts already out there, based on the C++ code that was released, that improve the stability, but remove multiplayer capabilty. This is very early stages, and non-playable. These are compiled and packaged for x86_64, except for Java apps and a few scripts, which should run, but have not been tested, on a 32-bit system.
