It contains a C++ wrapper around the ALSA library sequencer interface; ALSA sequencer provides software support for MIDI technology on Linux. This is a console app. It allows to generate large files (you can specify the size in megabytes). There is a template which you can set to define how a single line should look like, e.g. you can make a CSV file from it. This can contain random words, random numbers and sequential numbers. It has a dictionary of English words which you can replace with your own set. You can make them repeat occasionally. -

The plugin monitors the copying and pasting that takes place inside the IDE. As soon as a code fragment is pasted, the plugin checks if it introduces code duplication, and if it does, the plugin calculates a set of code metrics for it, and these metrics are compared against the currently selected metrics thresholds. If the chosen thresholds are surpassed, the plugin suggests the developer to perform the Extract Method refactoring and applies the refactoring if necessary. -
