A Chesto-based graphical frontend to the get package manager for downloading and managing homebrew on video game consoles, such as the Nintendo Switch and Wii U. This is a replacement to the older Wii U Homebrew App Store. To run this program, a Nintendo Switch with access to the Homebrew Menu is required. This can be done on most Switches manufactured before July 2018, for compatibility check your serial number at ismyswitchpatched. Download and extract the latest hb-appstore to sd:/switch/appstore/, and run "HB App Store" from within hbmenu. When you're done, you can press the Home or Minus buttons to exit. To run this program, a modded Wii U is required. There are work-in-progress ports to 3DS and Wii, with varying degrees of feature support. These can be compiled using the instructions below, but aren't yet ready to be used by most users. -

It supports HTTP/HTTPS, FTP, SFTP, BitTorrent and Metalink. aria2 can be manipulated via built-in JSON-RPC and XML-RPC interfaces. aria2 can download a file from multiple sources/protocols and tries to utilize your maximum download bandwidth. Really speeds up your download experience. aria2 doesn’t require much memory and CPU time. When disk cache is off, the physical memory usage is typically 4MiB (normal HTTP/FTP downloads) to 9MiB (BitTorrent downloads). CPU usage in BitTorrent with a download speed of 2.8MiB/sec is around 6%. aria2 supports The Metalink Download Description Format (aka Metalink v4), Metalink version 3, and Metalink/HTTP. Metalink offers the file verification, HTTP/FTP/SFTP/BitTorrent integration and various configurations for language, location, OS, etc. -

Run Android Apps in Chrome OS OR Chrome in OS X, Linux and Windows
Make sure Android applications are compatible with your Chromebook, first try to install an official application. Download an official app, such as Evernote, from the Chrome Web Store. Then download an open source game, like 2048.APK Game by Uberspot and load it as an unpacked extension. Go to chrome://apps and launch it there, ignore warnings. Install a sample Android app from the Chrome Store to get the runtime. Test out that app, make sure it runs on your hardware. Ubuntu might need sudo apt-get install lib32stdc++6. Install Node.js and install the tool (might need a sudo prefix). With Chrome 38+ you can now side load as many applications as you want. If you have older apps that were created using chromeos-apk tool then re-convert them or remove the "key" option from manifest.json.
