To exploit all available information from the family structure we developed CATCH, an algorithm that combines genotyped SNPs of all family members for the optimal detection of Runs Of Homozygosity (ROH) and exome sequencing data from one affected individual to identify putative causative variants in consanguineous families. CATCH proved to be effective in discovering known or putative new causative variants in

    projet SERHuM

    first person shooter

This projet is an unfinished game project of mine I started in 2002. It features a hand made .map files (valve hammer) parser and processor, and a bunch of code to display it like a game engine would. it has collision detection, and recently lightmapping, no mesh import, it has a console and a camera pathtrack demo recorder :) a discussion of the implementation of the lightmapper here: https://motsd1inge.wordpress.com/2016/03/29/light-rendering-2/

    de novo assembly validation

    de novo assembly validation

de novo clustering of assembled contigs into two groups

This project deals with de novo assembled contigs to cluster them into two groups forming the lengthwise clusters. These two groups are correctly assembled contigs and wrongly assembled contigs. For non-model organisms, without reference genome, it is very hard to state that which contig is correct and which is not. With this project, the proposed unsupervised clustering method (K-means) based clustering is done utilizing the depth of reads mapping based coverage information. The coverage...

    olego

    olego

OLego – short or long RNA-seq read mapping to discover exon junction

OLego is a program specifically designed for de novo spliced mapping of mRNA-seq reads. OLego adopts a seeding and extension scheme, and does not rely on a separate external mapper. It achieves high sensitivity of junction detection by using very small seeds (12-14 nt), efficiently mapped using Burrows-Wheeler transform (BWT) and FM-index. This also makes it particularly sensitive for discovering small exons. It is implemented in C++ with full support of multiple threading, to allow fast processing of large-scale data.
