    NoteBook FanControl (NBFC)

    NoteBook FanControl (NBFC)

Cross-platform fan control service for notebooks

NoteBook FanControl (NBFC) is a cross-platform fan control service for notebooks. It comes with a powerful configuration system, which allows to adjust it to many different notebook models. Currently, there are no pre-built releases for Linux, but you can easily build NBFC yourself. In general the NBFC Wiki is the first place to go if you have any questions. If you want to build NBFC from source, the first thing you have to do is to download the source code. You can easily clone the NBFC repository via git. Make sure the Mono runtime + development tools are installed on your machine (Debian based distros: mono-complete, Arch based distros: mono). Config files are an integral part of NBFC, because they define how NBFC interacts with your notebook's embedded controller (EC). The EC monitors your system's temperatures and controls the fan(s). It sits on the motherboard or is integrated into a Super I/O chip & is connected to the Southbridge via the Low Pin Count (LPC) bus.

Play mechanical keyboard sounds, typewriter sound as you type

It's a side project that I made for myself since when I use my own mechanical keyboard at late night or in the office and my parents and my coworkers hate that a lot because the sound of the keyboard is very loud (especially in quiet places). So if you are facing this issue just like me then this product is for you! - Plays typewriter sound - You can add more keyboard sound set by recording any sound you like and add them to this app with some easy steps. - Use your laptop keyboard or non-mechanical keyboard at work and still hear your loved sound. - Use this app as any purpose as you want (such as demo for the buyer about the keyboard sound before they buy it, custom any sound for any key...) With Mechvibes Editor, you can create a new sound pack, edit existing sound pack or share them with your friends.

    NOOP

    NOOP

Pair your strap over Bluetooth, keep all data on your own device

NOOP is an offline companion app for WHOOP straps that keeps biometric data on the user’s own device. It pairs with supported straps over Bluetooth and stores readings locally in SQLite instead of using a cloud account or subscription. The app can read data such as heart rate, R-R intervals, temperature-related values, respiration signals, battery information, and events, depending on device support. It also imports WHOOP CSV exports, Apple Health exports, and nutrition CSV data to build a local history. NOOP computes metrics such as recovery, strain, HRV, sleep, workouts, trends, and correlations using transparent on-device analytics. It is an independent, unofficial interoperability project for users who want local-first access to their own wearable data.

    OptiScaler

    OptiScaler

OptiScaler bridges upscaling/frame gen across GPUs

OptiScaler is an open-source modding tool designed to enhance graphics performance and flexibility in modern PC games by allowing users to replace or modify built-in upscaling technologies. Instead of relying on the upscaling method originally integrated by a game developer, the software intercepts the game’s rendering pipeline and redirects it to alternative technologies chosen by the user. This makes it possible to swap technologies such as NVIDIA DLSS, AMD FSR, or Intel XeSS even if the game only supports one of them by default. The tool effectively acts as a compatibility layer between the game engine and multiple upscaling frameworks, enabling cross-GPU access to features that might otherwise be restricted to specific hardware ecosystems. In addition to replacing upscalers, OptiScaler can enable frame generation features in titles that do not officially support them, improving frame rates and perceived smoothness during gameplay.

    SeedCrackerX

    SeedCrackerX

    Minecraft mod designed to reverse-engineer

SeedcrackerX is a Minecraft mod designed to reverse-engineer and determine a world’s seed by analyzing in-game structures and environmental data. It operates by collecting information from structures such as shipwrecks, temples, and monuments, then using that data to progressively narrow down possible seeds until the correct one is identified. The mod automates much of this process, initiating cracking procedures once sufficient data has been gathered, often requiring only exploration of specific structures. It includes a graphical configuration interface that allows users to control which structures are used and how data is collected. The system can also integrate with a shared database to contribute discovered seeds, enabling collaborative data gathering across users. Advanced features include brute-force algorithms that refine seed candidates based on structural patterns and hashed seed calculations.

    Xenia Canary

    Xenia Canary

    Xbox 360 Emulator Research Project

Xenia Canary is an experimental fork of the Xenia Xbox 360 emulator that moves faster than the mainline project to trial bleeding-edge improvements. It focuses on game compatibility and performance by iterating quickly on GPU and CPU emulation paths, shader translation, and timing correctness. Canary builds are where risky optimizations, new backends, and rewrites land first so they can be tested by a wider community before stabilizing. The project emphasizes pragmatism: make more titles boot and run with fewer glitches, even if it means carrying experiments that later get refined or rolled back. It also prioritizes developer ergonomics with logging options, debug overlays, and issue templates that help narrow down regressions. While aimed at enthusiasts and testers, it remains a valuable way for end users to play otherwise inaccessible 360 titles on PC when the mainline is lagging behind those fixes.
