Gumbo
An HTML5 parsing library in pure C99
...It's designed to serve as a building block for other tools and libraries such as linters, validators, templating languages, and refactoring and analysis tools. Gumbo gains some of this by virtue of being written in C, but it is not an important consideration for the intended use-case, and was not a major design factor. Gumbo is intentionally designed to turn an HTML document into a parse tree, and free that parse tree all at once. To install the python bindings, make sure that the C library is installed first, and then sudo python setup.py install from the root of the distro. High-performance transactional memory for Common Lisp
...Instead of traditional lock-based programming, one programs with atomic memory transactions: if a memory transaction returns normally it gets committed, if instead it signals an error (Lisp slang for throwing an exception) it is rolled back. Memory transactions can safely run in parallel in different threads, are re-executed from the beginning in case of conflicts or if consistent reads cannot be guaranteed, and effects of a transaction are not visible from other threads until it commits. STMX gives freedom from deadlocks, automatic rollback on failure, and it aims at resolving the tension between granularity and concurrency. -

casefix

The primary part of the casefix project is a small c library of case editing functions, the heart of which is 7 streaming case editors. Also, there are 3 functions that interface char arrays and strings to the streaming editors. So the library can modify the casing of any character, character block (word), any character string, character array, or any character stream. Currently, libcasefix only handles 7 or 8 bit character sets with some support for UTF-8. -
