...The main purpose of this library is to provide the developer with utility functions for managing the SWire protocol, namely functions for encoding SWire requests and decoding SWire responses. Secondly, it provides a function for generating Stata missing values. SWire4js is self-contained in the swire4js.js file. A SWire web application is a web page which interacts with Stata through SWire. Examples of SWire web applications include those of the SWire Web Apps Collection. This is a collection of demo SWire web applications which is useful in learning how to develop with SWire and SWire4js. Libcutils provides a self-contained set of fundamental routines which are essential to basically any Unix utility or daemon application written in C. The library provides fundamental data structures such as lists, hash-maps, strings and parsing functions for JSON or the typical dot-file based configuration data. Of the first objective, was born the OLExcel library, which lets use the OLE Compound File technology (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd942557.aspx), using the Apache POI library (http://poi.apache.org). OLExcel greatly simplifies the job of creating Excel files using Java through OLE2.0 technology. Of the second objective, was born the JForex2Excel system, that making use of the OLExcel library, send data from the JForex platform to a file in Excel format. -

The C and Assembly plugins rely on the existence of a TCC .dll/.so file somewhere in the PATH - www.tinycc.org (at present standard binary releases of TCC don't include the .dll/.so file, but it can be easily compiled from the source releases). New plugins for other compiled languages (like Fortran or ECL) should be trivially easy to create using the existing ones as templates. -
