    Resumable.js

    Resumable.js

Library for providing multiple uploads via the HTML5 File API

Resumable.js is a JavaScript library providing multiple simultaneous, stable and resumable uploads via the HTML5 File API. The library is designed to introduce fault-tolerance into the upload of large files through HTTP. This is done by splitting each file into small chunks. Then, whenever the upload of a chunk fails, uploading is retried until the procedure completes. This allows uploads to automatically resume uploading after a network connection is lost either locally or to the server. Additionally, it allows for users to pause, resume and even recover uploads without losing state because only the currently uploading chunks will be aborted, not the entire upload. Resumable.js does not have any external dependencies other than the HTML5 File API. This is relied on for the ability to chunk files into smaller pieces. Currently, this means that support is widely available in to Firefox 4+, Chrome 11+, Safari 6+ and Internet Explorer 10+.

    Riot

    Riot

Simple and elegant component-based UI library

Why do we need a new UI library? The frontend space is indeed crowded, but we honestly feel the solution is still “out there”. We believe Riot.js offers the right balance for solving the great puzzle. Riot.js brings custom elements to all modern browsers without the use of any polyfill! A custom element glues relevant HTML and JavaScript together forming a reusable component. It is designed to offer you everything you wished native the web components API looked like. HTML syntax is the de facto language of the web and it’s designed for building user interfaces. The syntax is explicit, nesting is inherent to the language, and attributes offer a clean way to provide options for custom tags. Minimalism sets Riot.js apart from others. One of the design goals was to introduce a powerful tag syntax with as little boilerplate as possible. Riot.js has between 10 and 100 times fewer API methods than other UI libraries.

    Rollup

    Rollup

    A module bundler for JavaScript

Rollup is a module bundler for JavaScript which compiles small pieces of code into something larger and more complex, such as a library or application. It uses the new standardized format for code modules included in the ES6 revision of JavaScript, instead of previous idiosyncratic solutions such as CommonJS and AMD. ES modules let you freely and seamlessly combine the most useful individual functions from your favorite libraries. This will eventually be possible natively everywhere, but Rollup lets you do it today. Rollup can be used either through a command line interface with an optional configuration file, or else through its JavaScript API. Rollup allows you to write your code using the new module system, and will then compile it back down to existing supported formats such as CommonJS modules, AMD modules, and IIFE-style scripts. This means that you get to write future-proof code.

    SWire4js

    SWire4js

A JavaScript library for developing SWire web applications

SWire4js is a JavaScript library which facilitates the development of SWire web applications. The main purpose of this library is to provide the developer with utility functions for managing the SWire protocol, namely functions for encoding SWire requests and decoding SWire responses. Secondly, it provides a function for generating Stata missing values. SWire4js is self-contained in the swire4js.js file. A SWire web application is a web page which interacts with Stata through SWire. Examples of SWire web applications include those of the SWire Web Apps Collection. This is a collection of demo SWire web applications which is useful in learning how to develop with SWire and SWire4js. These apps can been tried on-line here: http://swire-web-apps-collection.sourceforge.net/ To learn more about SWire, visit https://sourceforge.net/projects/swire/

    Schema.DTS

    Schema.DTS

JSON-LD TypeScript types for Schema vocabulary

The project provides a comprehensive set of TypeScript typings based on the Schema vocabulary, enabling developers to author JSON-LD structured data with strong type safety. It supplies both high-level discriminated unions and helper types to model contexts, graphs, and linked data relationships with clarity and accuracy. Usage examples demonstrate how one can import types like Person, WithContext, or Graph and compose JSON-LD objects in a way that aligns with semantic-web and knowledge-graph practices. The repository also contains a generator tool that can pull ontology definitions and emit TypeScript definitions in bulk, ensuring the typings stay up to date and maintain consistency. It supports scenarios such as nested objects, graphs of entities, and action types with input/output constraints, which makes it suitable for rich metadata authoring and linked-data workflows. While it is maintained by Google, it is not an officially supported Google product.

    ScrollMagic

    ScrollMagic

The javascript library for magical scroll interactions

ScrollMagic helps you to easily react to the user's current scroll position. ScrollMagic is a complete rewrite of its predecessor Superscrollorama by John Polacek. A plugin-based architecture offers easy customizability and extendability. Animate based on scroll position, pin an element starting at a specific scroll position, toggle CSS classes of elements on and off based on scroll position, effortlessly add parallax effects to your website, create an infinitely scrolling page, add callbacks at specific scroll positions or while scrolling past a specific section. Either trigger an animation or synchronize it to the scrollbar movement (like a playback scrub control). Pin an element starting at a specific scroll position, either indefinitely or for a limited amount of scroll progress (sticky elements). You can add callbacks at specific scroll positions or while scrolling past a specific section, passing a progress parameter.

    Shoestring

    Shoestring

A lightweight, simple DOM utility made to run on a tight budget.

Shoestring is a lightweight, modular DOM framework intended for developers who need their code to download and run as fast as possible. It is intended to be "just enough" of a tool to efficently write maintainable cross-browser JavaScript. The API is modeled after jQuery but we intentionally implement a tiny subset of the API to cover only the methods we commonly need in our projects. Each feature is built as an optional extension to a minimal core so each can be removed from the production build (dependencies between extensions are rare). The selector engine delegates to modern browsers' native document.querySelectorAll (IE8) and addEventListener (IE9), which means it requires browsers that support those features. For projects that require deeper compatibility or a richer set of features, it is simple to swap in jQuery instead. As a rule, anything that works with Shoestring should work with jQuery, but not the converse.

    Size Limit

    Size Limit

Calculate the real cost to run your JS app or lib

Size Limit is a JavaScript performance budget tool that measures the real cost of your JavaScript bundle and prevents regressions by enforcing limits in CI. It calculates not just raw bundle size, but also download and execution time under configurable network conditions, giving a more realistic sense of what users experience. The tool is modular: it offers a CLI and multiple plugins (file, webpack, time) plus presets tailored to different use cases, from big single-page apps to small npm libraries. When integrated with GitHub Actions, CircleCI, or other CI systems, it runs on every commit or pull request, failing the pipeline if a change exceeds the configured budget. It can also annotate pull requests with comments that highlight how the bundle changed, making performance regressions visible to reviewers early. With the --why flag, size-limit can analyze what contributes most to bundle size and show a dependency breakdown (using Statoscope).

    Sizzle

    Sizzle

    A sizzlin' hot selector engine

A pure-JavaScript CSS selector engine designed to be easily dropped in to a host library. Browser support may differ between standalone Sizzle and libraries that include Sizzle. Please report issues on Sizzle's issue tracker, rather than the trackers for disparate libraries. In order to build Sizzle, you should have Node.js/npm latest and git 1.7 or later (earlier versions might work OK, but are not tested). For Windows you have to download and install git and Node.js. Mac OS users should install Homebrew. Once Homebrew is installed, run brew install git to install git, and brew install node to install Node.js. Linux/BSD users should use their appropriate package managers to install git and Node.js, or build from source if you swing that way. Workarounds for Internet Explorer 6 are still in the code but the browser is no longer actively tested. Sizzle supports virtually all CSS 3 Selectors, including escaped selectors (.foo\+bar), Unicode selectors, and more.

    Snap.js

    Snap.js

A Library for creating beautiful mobile shelfs in Javascript

A Library for creating beautiful mobile shelfs in Javascript. As standalone just include the file in a script tag. The slide intent is an int between 0 and 90, and represents the degrees in the first quadrant of a circle that you would like to have mirrored on the X and Y axis. For example, if you have 40 set as your slideIntent value, the user would only be able to slide the pane by dragging in the blue area in the diagram below. Once intent has been defined, it will not change until the user releases. CSS3 Powered Animations with IE fallbacks, drag support, drag handle support. Programatic API, "No-Drag" elements, and definable easing mode. Enable/disable events, disabled sides (left or right). It supports Ratchet (with templates!). Because of the nature of this code, drawers are just kind of stacked behind the content. To bring the proper drawer to the front, you can hook into Snaps.js' CSS classes.

    Solved by Flexbox

    Solved by Flexbox

A showcase of problems once hard or impossible to solve with CSS

Solved by Flexbox is a collection of layout patterns that demonstrates how CSS Flexbox elegantly resolves classic web design problems. It tackles everyday challenges—vertical centering, equal-height columns, sticky footers, fluid media, and responsive grids—showing concise, production-ready CSS instead of elaborate hacks. Each pattern is presented with plain HTML, clear commentary, and minimal styling, making the underlying technique easy to adapt and extend. The project emphasizes progressive enhancement and calls out where fallbacks or browser caveats may apply, reflecting the realities of shipping layouts on the web. Even as CSS Grid gained traction, the patterns remain a practical reference for component-level alignment and one-dimensional layouts where Flexbox excels. As a teaching resource, it has helped countless developers internalize Flexbox mental models and replace brittle layout tricks with robust, modern CSS.

    Source Map Support

    Source Map Support

Adds source map support to node.js (for stack traces)

Source Map Support is a Node.js module that enhances stack traces for transpiled or bundled JavaScript by resolving them back to the original source files using source maps. When code is compiled from TypeScript, CoffeeScript, Babel, or bundlers like Webpack, errors normally point to the generated code; this module intercepts V8’s stack trace API and remaps paths and line numbers to their original locations. The output closely mimics Node’s native stack format, so it feels like standard stack traces—but with your original source filenames and line numbers instead of opaque build artifacts. It’s designed to be easy to enable: you can require it programmatically or load it via a register hook so that all subsequent errors benefit. Because it relies on the source-map library, it works across a wide range of build systems that emit standard source maps.

    Speedy Composer

Speedy Composer – Artificial Neural Network Melody Composer.

Thank you for your interest in Speedy Composer. Speedy Composer is an automated application for composing melodies for Speedy Net members. We recently made changes to the source code of Speedy Net, and converted it into the Python language and Django framework. Since Speedy Composer was originally written in PHP, it is not adapted to work with Speedy Net in its current form. So unfortunately we were forced to temporarily close the app Speedy Composer. But don't worry, we kept backups of all the tunes composed by Speedy Composer, and when the website is reopened we will upload them to the new site. Speedy Composer and Speedy Net are open source applications, free software. We are currently looking for volunteers to help us convert Speedy Composer to Python. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact me by email. Thank you and good luck, Uri Rodberg Founder and Director of Speedy Net and Speedy Composer, Speedy Paz Technologies Ltd. uri@speedy.net
