LibNetBlock - A Network Blocking Library
A library for blocking access to network on-the-fly
LibNetBlock is a library that on-the-fly (by preloading) prevents a program under its control to use the network, to help to keep the user's privacy, prevent data leakage and virus spreading. You can think of LibNetBlock as a simple layer-7 (L7) firewall that simply blocks the network access for the program it controls. There is NO NEED to rebuild your software, because LibNetBlock is a pre-loadable library, meaning you just need to RUN the software with LibNetBlock loaded. LibNetBlock is also a development library. LibSecRm - Secure Removal Library
A library for secure deleting data on-the-fly
LibSecRm (LIBrary for SECure ReMoval) is a set of replacements for these standard C functions which cause data removing from files. The data is first securely wiped on-the-fly, to protect the user's privacy, then the original functions are called. There is NO NEED to rebuild your software, because LibSecRm is a pre-loadable library, meaning you just need to RUN the software with LibSecRm loaded. LibSecRm is also a development library. To wipe data that was left on the drive by using "normal" delete operations, you can take a look at WipeFreeSpace (https://wipefreespace.sourceforge.io), which wipes the space used by files marked as deleted (and other things, too). -

STALLioN is a cross-platform (currently Linux, Windows and FreeBSD) C/C++ library for developers wishing to use a terminal/CLI interface on multiple platforms but only want a single codebase. It aims to provide a consistent development API across multiple platforms so that separate code does not have to be created for each (often very different) terminal interface; simply use the functions in STALLioN and compile with the correct library for the chosen platform. Currently in very early development; most basic functions and output are done, input is coming together. It is licensed under the GPLv3 license, so is free software. -

STMX
High-performance transactional memory for Common Lisp
STMX is a high-performance Common Lisp library for composable Transactional Memory (TM), a concurrency control mechanism aimed at making concurrent programming easier to write and understand. Instead of traditional lock-based programming, one programs with atomic memory transactions: if a memory transaction returns normally it gets committed, if instead it signals an error (Lisp slang for throwing an exception) it is rolled back. Memory transactions can safely run in parallel in different threads, are re-executed from the beginning in case of conflicts or if consistent reads cannot be guaranteed, and effects of a transaction are not visible from other threads until it commits. STMX gives freedom from deadlocks, automatic rollback on failure, and it aims at resolving the tension between granularity and concurrency. -

Libcutils provides a self-contained set of fundamental routines which are essential to basically any Unix utility or daemon application written in C. The library provides fundamental data structures such as lists, hash-maps, strings and parsing functions for JSON or the typical dot-file based configuration data. libhash
Thread safe hash library
A hash table library that can store binary data. It is thread safe and you can use as many hash tables in your program as you wish because each has its own context. You can drop items from the hash table and can expire items that have become too old. String keys are default, but with your own comparison routine you can use binary or specialty keys. If you have special needs you can substitute your on hash calculation function for the built in one. There is also a library call that allows you to judge the efficiency of your hash function. The library has complete HTML documentation. And several tests of the library can be run with "make check". -
