    Requests for PHP

    Requests for PHP

Requests for PHP is a humble HTTP request library

Requests is a HTTP library written in PHP, for human beings. It is roughly based on the API from the excellent Requests Python library. Requests is ISC Licensed (similar to the new BSD license) and has no dependencies, except for PHP 5.6+. Despite PHP’s use as a language for the web, its tools for sending HTTP requests are severely lacking. cURL has an interesting API, to say the least, and you can’t always rely on it being available. Sockets provide only low-level access and require you to build most of the HTTP response parsing yourself. Requests allows you to send HEAD, GET, POST, PUT, DELETE, and PATCH HTTP requests. You can add headers, form data, multipart files, and parameters with basic arrays, and access the response data in the same way. Requests uses cURL and fsockopen, depending on what your system has available, but abstracts all the nasty stuff out of your way, providing a consistent API.

    ResNeXt

    ResNeXt

    Implementation of a classification framework

ResNeXt is a deep neural network architecture for image classification built on the idea of aggregated residual transformations. Instead of simply increasing depth or width, ResNeXt introduces a new dimension called cardinality, which refers to the number of parallel transformation paths (i.e. the number of “branches”) that are aggregated together. Each branch is a small transformation (e.g. bottleneck block) and their outputs are summed—this enables richer representation without excessive parameter blowup. The design is modular and homogeneous, making it relatively easy to scale (by tuning cardinality, width, depth) and adopt in existing residual frameworks. The official repository offers a Torch (Lua) implementation with code for training, evaluation, and pretrained models on ImageNet. In practice, ResNeXt models often outperform standard ResNet models of comparable complexity.

    Resurrecting Project in LinUtil

    Resurrecting Project in LinUtil

    Automated Arch Linux Install

Resurrecting Project in LinUtil is an automated Arch Linux installation project created by Chris Titus that wraps Arch’s traditionally manual install process in a guided script. It aims to make Arch more approachable by handling tasks like disk partitioning, base system installation, and desktop environment selection through a menu-driven interface. The repository includes configuration presets and scripts that not only install the system but also set up a curated software stack and sensible defaults. Over time, the project evolved and was eventually archived in favor of a newer, streamlined Arch install script, but ArchTitus remains available as a reference for its original approach. The script is popular among users who want an Arch-based environment tuned for desktop use without stepping through every command manually. It also provides a useful learning tool, since users can study the install scripts to understand how a repeatable Arch setup is orchestrated.

    RetrofitUrlManager

    RetrofitUrlManager

Let Retrofit support multiple baseUrl and can be change the baseUrl

RetrofitUrlManager is an Android networking utility built on top of Retrofit and OkHttp that enables applications to support multiple base URLs and dynamically switch endpoints at runtime. The library simplifies complex networking architectures where apps interact with multiple APIs, environments, or microservices without requiring developers to rebuild Retrofit instances manually. It works by intercepting outgoing requests and replacing or modifying the target domain through a centralized management layer. The project is especially useful in modular Android applications, debugging environments, multi-tenant systems, and apps requiring dynamic API routing. RetrofitUrlManager integrates seamlessly into existing Retrofit workflows with minimal configuration while preserving compatibility with OkHttp interceptors and Retrofit annotations. Its design prioritizes flexibility, runtime configurability, and reduced boilerplate in Android networking stacks.

    RoaringBitmap

    RoaringBitmap

A better compressed bitset in Java

Bitsets, also called bitmaps, are commonly used as fast data structures. Unfortunately, they can use too much memory. To compensate, we often use compressed bitmaps. Roaring bitmaps are compressed bitmaps which tend to outperform conventional compressed bitmaps such as WAH, EWAH or Concise. In some instances, roaring bitmaps can be hundreds of times faster and they often offer significantly better compression. They can even be faster than uncompressed bitmaps.

    RobotsDisallowed

    RobotsDisallowed

A curated list of the most common and most interesting robots.txt

RobotsDisallowed is a public catalog that tracks websites and organizations explicitly blocking AI and web-scraping crawlers in their robots.txt or related mechanisms. It focuses on documenting the growing trend of content owners asserting control over how their data is used for model training and automated harvesting. The project aggregates domains, notes the targeted bots or user agents, and surfaces patterns for researchers, policymakers, and tool builders. It serves both as a transparency effort and as a resource for people designing allow/deny strategies for automated access. The dataset invites community contributions to keep the picture current as new bots emerge and policies shift. It also highlights the intersection of web standards, ethics, and AI governance by showing how site owners operationalize consent and restriction at scale.

    Rotations Conversion Library

    Rotations Conversion Library

Library for working with 3D rotations in C++

The Rotations Conversion Library (RCL) is a collection of C++ functions that address common computations and numerical handling of rotations in 3D Euclidean space, including support for rotation matrices (`Rotmat`), Quaternions (`Quat`), intrinsic ZYX Euler angles (`Euler`), fused angles (`Fused`) and tilt angles (`Tilt`). In addition to the core competency of being able to convert between each of the representations, operations such as inversion, ZYX yaw extraction, fused yaw extraction, renormalisation, equality detection, vector rotation and much more have been implemented. Unit tests for each function are provided to ensure that the library performs exactly as it should. The implementation of the Rotations Conversion Library is based on the very related Matlab/Octave Rotations Library (MORL), which is a highly tested reference implementation for the required algorithms (see https://sourceforge.net/projects/rotationslib/).

    Ruby-processing

    Ruby-processing

Bridge between the Processing creative-coding framework and Ruby

Ruby-processing is a bridge between the Processing creative-coding framework (originally Java-based) and the Ruby language, created to let developers and artists write Processing sketches using Ruby syntax. It enables the well-known graphics, animation, interaction and sketching patterns of Processing in a Ruby environment, which can be appealing to those who prefer Ruby’s syntax or already live in the Ruby ecosystem. Though the project is now deprecated and newer alternatives exist, it remains an excellent historical example of how to embed a drawing/graphics API into another language and how creative coding communities evolve. For educators or artists exploring coding visually, Ruby-Processing provided a low-barrier entry by combining a high-level language (Ruby) with an expressive graphics library. It also demonstrates how open-source communities wrap frameworks into new environments for accessibility and experimentation.

Fast UTF-8 codepoint sets for Zig

This library offers a compact data structure for "generalized"1 UTF-8 encoded codepoints. The design is based on an implicit data structure2, which uses @popCount and bit masking to check membership quickly, with minimal branching, and without having to decode the UTF-8 into another format (for instance, a codepoint). This design is original, in the sense that I invented it. There may be prior art, it's remarkably difficult to search for "UTF-8 character sets" and find papers on set data structures, so I can't say with high confidence that it's truly novel; in a sense, it's an obvious extension of the widespread practice of using a pair of u64 bitmasks to detect a set of ASCII values. What I can say is: it's effective. The RuneSet struct is just a slice of u64, offering a few variations on set membership tests, depending on how confident you are that the string it's testing is valid UTF-8, and what you would like the test to do in the event that it isn't.
