This Python program/library is designed to handle GD-ROM image (GDI) files. It can be used to list files, extract data, generate sorttxt file, extract bootstrap (IP.BIN) file and more. This project can be used in standalone mode, in interactive mode or as a library in another Python program (check the 'addons' folder to learn how). For your convenience, you can use the gditools.py GUI program supplied in the Files section (optional). To use this project you must install the Python 2.7.x branch release binaries. Mail Alert Simple Mailer is a simple command-line utility designed for IT administrators for sending e-mail from Microsoft Windows OS. It can be executed from command line, Windows batch file or PowerShell scripts. My main reason for writing this software was to handle events generated by Dell OpenManage Server Administrator (OMSA), APC PowerChute and Windows Events to send hardware status and alerts like temperature alerts, UPS battery status, powerline status and RAID controller alerts from monitoring software. It can be used with any other software where you can configure external application to be executed when specific event occurs. Mail Alert Simple Mailer supports SSL and STARTTLS protocols, so it is compatible with many free e-mail providers like GMail, Hotmail, etc. Unlike other simple command line tools it supports ISO-8859-1, ISO-8859-2 and UTF-8 code pages for national characters. Mail Alert Simple Mailer encrypts SMTP password in configuration file. -

A tool for technicians who use USB-to-Serial converters to connect to various devices (PLCs, Frequency converters etc.). Many of the end-device supplied tools will show you all the possible COM ports on your system, and give you a headache to find which COM port belongs to your USB-to-Serial converter. This tool will help you by listing the COM ports with friendly names (as defined in the device driver). A notification with the list of COM ports will pop up at connecting a USB-to-Serial adapter. The tool can be set up to start with Windows. -

SPINA
Structure parameter inference approach for endocrine feedback control
SPINA is software for the rapid, reliable and accurate determination of constant structure parameters of endocrine feedback control systems. It is a class of static function tests that require nothing more than steady-state concentrations of hormones or metabolites obtained in vivo. The first version of this cybernetic approach had been developed for the evaluation of the functional status of the thyroid gland, i.e. thyroid's secretory capacity (gain of thyroid, GT or SPINA-GT) and sum activity of peripheral deiodinases (GD or SPINA-GD). A second version has been established for insulin-glucose homeostasis. It delivers the secretory capacity of pancreatic beta cells (SPINA-GBeta), an estimate for the insulin receptor amplification (SPINA-GR) and a static disposition index as a measure for the loop gain of the feedback loop (SPINA-DI). Both implementations of SPINA have been validated in more than 50 clinical studies based on large cohorts. -
