This is a fork of the Dactyl, a parameterized, split-hand, concave, columnar, ergonomic keyboard. The main change is that the thumb cluster was adapted from the ManuForm keyboard (geekhack). The walls were changed to just drop to the floor. The 3D printed part is the main keyboard. You can attach a bottom plate with screws. The case has holes for heat-set inserts designed to hold 3- to 6-mm long M3 screws. Then, I used wafer-head screws to connect a bottom plate. If wires aren't dangling, a bottom plate may not be needed. You need something on the bottom to keep the keyboard from sliding around. Without a plate, you could use a rubber pad, or you could dip the bottom of the keyboard in PlastiDip. -

This is a keyboard (layout) that you can install in Windows 7, 8, 8.1 and 10. The layout is closer to the classic Bamini keyboard layout for Tamil typing. To install: Execute setup.exe and follow instructions. To use/ enable: Go to control panel -> Language -> Click on 'Add a Language' to add Tamil (Sri Lanka) -> Once language is added, click on 'options' for this language -> Click on 'Add an input method' and follow instructions -> Once the keyboard 'Tamil - Bamini keyboard' is installed, you should find it available in the list of keyboards shown in system tray or in the windows language toolbar. (Follow common Windows help material/ instructions found online to get the toolbar activated if not available by default).

Tibetan Unicode Keyboard

A Tibetan character is formed by stacking the middle (core) character with lower character stack(s) and upper stack. The tools in this package has been tested to work well in Windows 10 and above. The Java version is in the project titled Tibetan Java Keyboard. The MS Excel version does not work on Excel operating in MacOS. The Excel version uses Excel macros and VBA codes. One needs to Enable Macro to allow it to work. The motivation for this project is due to old proprietary Tibetan fonts not displaying properly on different systems. However, with the Tibetan unicode fonts being available and maturing in recent years, it makes documents typed in Tibetan unicode fonts readable on different operating systems. With the number of core characters, lower stack characters, upper stack characters and symbols in Tibetan language is difficult to be handle with traditional physical keyboard. A screen keyboard will make the creation of Tibetan characters more user friendly. -

This is an IPA (International Phonetic Alphabet) keyboard layout, made for linguists by linguists. There are very few tools for comprehensive IPA input available, some of those are strictly online, some of them cost money, and others yet are difficult to install and operate. I tried to make a free to use, free to distribute IPA keyboard for linguists to use both at home / in the office, and during fieldwork. So far the project is in its preliminary stages, as I have not received any major feedback, but if it interests other people I will continue developing it. Nevertheless, the input is fully usable, and contains a large number of IPA characters (almost all of them, in fact), and several diacritics. -
