Earlier versions were written in PHP and MYSQL and 3.x offered a REST API to let you generate the data programmatically rather than via an API. While this is still planned for 4.x it's not currently offered, and the plan it to tackle that after making the script available as an npm package - which we feel will be a more convenient way to programmatically generate data over the more agnostic REST approach. -

Ensure that you zoom/pan such that the oldest date you desire is visible on TradingView before publishing the chart. Too many indicators or too low a time resolution will increase the data points and potentially overload the free server. Avoid this by hosting/running the script on your local machine or scraping multiple times with fewer indicators and manually combining the CSV afterward. Simply append the URL of a chart/idea published on TradingView to the link below. This is not the URL of a security's chart, but the URL for a user-published chart. -

...Himalaya is synchronous and does not require any complicated callbacks. Himalaya does not cut corners and returns an accurate representation of the HTML supplied. To remove whitespace, post-process the JSON; check out an example script. Himalaya can include the start and end positions of nodes in the parse output. To enable this, you can pass parse the parseDefaults extended with includePositions: true. Himalaya provides a stringify method.
