    jqGrid

    jqGrid

    jQuery grid plugin

jqGrid is an Ajax-enabled JavaScript control that provides solutions for representing and manipulating tabular data on the web. Since the grid is a client-side solution, loading data dynamically through Ajax callbacks, it can be integrated with any server-side technology, including PHP, ASP, Java Servlets, JSP, ColdFusion, and Perl. Improve the maxGridHeigh method. Add a third parameter to indicate the minimum height at which the method run. jqGrid uses a jQuery JavaScript Library and is written as a plug-in for that package. JqGrid was developed by Tony Tomov at Trirand Inc., a software development firm based in Sofia. Trirand specializes in the development of web components and embraces free and open standards like jQuery, ThemeRoller, & jQuery UI. Tony got the idea for jqGrid when he needed an easy way to represent database information in a project. The first requirement was speed and the second, was independence from server-side technology and the database backend.

    lightcrawler

    lightcrawler

Website crawler that audits site pages automatically with Lighthouse

Lightcrawler is a command-line tool designed to crawl a website and run automated audits on the discovered pages using Google Lighthouse. It works by starting from a given URL and recursively exploring linked pages to collect a set of pages that should be analyzed. Each discovered page is then evaluated using Lighthouse, which performs checks related to performance, accessibility, and web development best practices. This allows developers to audit multiple pages of a site automatically instead of manually running Lighthouse on each individual page. Lightcrawler supports configuration through a JSON configuration file, enabling users to customize how the crawler operates and which Lighthouse audits should be executed. Settings such as crawl depth and the number of concurrent browser instances can be configured to control how aggressively the crawler scans a site. It was created as a developer utility to help identify issues across an entire website more efficiently.

    lint-staged

    lint-staged

Run linters on git staged files

Run linters against staged git files and don't let anything slip into your code base! Linting makes more sense when run before committing your code. By doing so you can ensure no errors go into the repository and enforce code style. But running a lint process on a whole project is slow, and linting results can be irrelevant. Ultimately you only want to lint files that will be committed. This project contains a script that will run arbitrary shell tasks with a list of staged files as an argument, filtered by a specified glob pattern. Linter commands work on a subset of all staged files, defined by a glob pattern. lint-staged uses micromatch for matching files. The concept of lint-staged is to run configured linter tasks (or other tasks) on files that are staged in git. lint-staged will always pass a list of all staged files to the task, and ignoring any files should be configured in the task itself.

    node-hid

    node-hid

Access USB & Bluetooth HID devices through Node.js

node-hid supports Node.js v6 and upwards. For versions before that, you will need to build from source. The platforms, architectures and node versions node-hid supports are the following. In general we try to provide pre-built native library binaries for the most common platforms, Node and Electron versions. We strive to make node-hid cross-platform so there's a good chance any combination not listed here will compile and work. We are using prebuild to compile and post binaries of the library for most common use cases (Linux, MacOS, Windows on standard processor platforms). If a prebuild is not available, node-hid will work, but npm install node-hid will compile the binary when you install. In the src/ directory, various JavaScript programs can be found that talk to specific devices in some way.

    npm-run-all

    npm-run-all

A CLI tool to run multiple npm-scripts in parallel or sequential

The official npm run-script command cannot run multiple scripts, so if we want to run multiple scripts, it's redundant a bit. Let's shorten it by glob-like patterns. We sometimes use & to run multiple commands in parallel, but cmd.exe (npm run-script uses it by default) does not support the &. Half of Node.js users are using it on Windows, so the use of & might block contributions. npm-run-all parallel works well on Windows as well.

    pdfmake

    pdfmake

Client/server side PDF printing in pure JavaScript

Print PDFs directly in the browser or delegate it to your NodeJS backend. Use the same document definition in both cases. Forget about manual x, y calculations. Declare document structure and let pdfmake do the rest. Use paragraphs, columns, lists, tables, canvas, etc. Declare your own styles, use custom fonts, build a DSL and extend the framework. Provides a set of options to disable font layout cache and to control when pages are flushed to the output file. Pdfmake is runnable in browser (client-side) and in Node.js (server-side). PDF name can be defined only by using metadata title property. Add-ons used in browsers can affect the functionality of pdfmake (especially for open() and print()). If pdfmake is not working try disable add-ons in browser. The supported browsers are Internet Explorer 10+, Edge 12+, Firefox, Chrome, Opera and Safari.

GitHub Action for deploying code via rsync over ssh. (with NodeJS). Private key part of an SSH key pair. The public key part should be added to the authorized_keys file on the server that receives the deployment. NodeJS version is more than a minute faster than simple Docker version. This GitHub Action deploys specific directory from GITHUB_WORKSPACE to a folder on a server via rsync over ssh, using NodeJS. This action would usually follow a build/test action which leaves deployable code in GITHUB_WORKSPACE. The keys should be generated using the PEM format. Check your keys. Check your deployment paths. And use at your own risk.

    stylus

    stylus

Expressive, robust, feature-rich CSS language built for nodejs

Stylus is a revolutionary new language, providing an efficient, dynamic, and expressive way to generate CSS. Supporting both an indented syntax and regular CSS style. Installing Stylus is very easy once you have Node.js. So get the binaries for your platform and make sure that they also include npm, Node’s package manager. Stylus features powerful in-language function definitions. Function definitions appear identical to mixins; however, functions may return a value. Optional arguments may default to a given expression. With Stylus we may even default arguments to earlier arguments! Stylus is an innovative stylesheet language that compiles down to CSS. Inspired by SASS, Stylus is built with node.js and capable of running in the browser. Stylus is “pythonic” (i.e. indentation-based). Whitespace is significant, so we substitute { and } with an indent, and an outdent. Stylus, just like CSS, allows you to define properties for several selectors at once through comma separation.

    uPlot

    uPlot

Chart for time series, lines, areas, ohlc and bars

μPlot is a fast, memory-efficient Canvas 2D-based chart for plotting time series, lines, areas, ohlc & bars; from a cold start it can create an interactive chart containing 150,000 data points in 135ms, scaling linearly at ~25,000 pts/ms. In addition to fast initial render, the zooming and cursor performance is by far the best of any similar charting lib; at ~40 KB, it's likely the smallest and fastest time series plotter that doesn't make use of context-limited WebGL shaders or WASM, both of which have much higher startup cost and code size. However, if you need 60fps performance with massive streaming datasets, uPlot can only get you so far. WebGL should still be the tool of choice for applications like realtime signal or waveform visualizations: See danchitnis/webgl-plot, huww98/TimeChart, epezent/implot, or commercial products like LightningChart®.

An HTTP/1.1 client, written from scratch for Node.js

An HTTP/1.1 client, written from scratch for Node.js. This section documents our most commonly used API methods. Additional APIs are documented in their own files within the docs folder and are accessible via the navigation list on the left side of the docs site. Garbage collection in Node is less aggressive and deterministic (due to the lack of clear idle periods that browsers have through the rendering refresh rate) which means that leaving the release of connection resources to the garbage collector can lead to excessive connection usage, reduced performance (due to less connection re-use), and even stalls or deadlocks when running out of connections.

    winston

    winston

A logger for just about everything

Winston is designed to be a simple and universal logging library with support for multiple transports. A transport is essentially a storage device for your logs. Each winston logger can have multiple transports (see: Transports) configured at different levels (see: Logging levels). For example, one may want error logs to be stored in a persistent remote location (like a database), but all logs output to the console or a local file. Winston aims to decouple parts of the logging process to make it more flexible and extensible. Attention is given to supporting flexibility in log formatting (see: Formats) & levels (see: Using custom logging levels), and ensuring those APIs decoupled from the implementation of transport logging (i.e. how the logs are stored / indexed, see: Adding Custom Transports) to the API that they exposed to the programmer.
