nmrshiftdb2 is a NMR database (web database) for organic structures and their nuclear magnetic resonance (nmr) spectra. It allows for spectrum prediction (13C, 1H and other nuclei) as well as for searching spectra, structures and other properties. The nmrshiftdb2 software is open source, the data is published under an open content license. Users can zoom into the Raman spectrum, shift in any direction the wavenumber and the intensity axes, and if any part of the spectral display is clicked, that region will be highlighted and the specific wavenumber returned. A photo for every sample entry stored in the database is also available. -

...History: This instrument driver project is part of of a non open source data acquisition and analysis project used at Colorado School of Mines, JSeisLab. JSeisLab is a Java port of its predecessor "Spectrum Division for Windows" which is written in VB 6.0. Design: I created a 64-bit JNA wrapper with IVI's visa.h version 5.0 as input to JNAerator (https://github.com/nativelibs4java/JNAerator). Instrument drivers written in Java can use this wrapper. A 64-bit VISA library from either an instrument company (e.g. National Instruments, Tektronix) when running Windows or libvisa (http://www.librevisa.org) when running Linux needs to be installed . -

The software also predicts gamma spectrum for each measurement. The predicted spectra agreed partially with measured spectra. This software has a XML database which includes nuclear data for frequently used materials in NAA. Neutron Neutron cross section data from ‘‘ Tables for Neutron Activation Analysis’’ , photon cross section data from Berger and Hubbell’s XCOM photon cross sections database [ 2], and isotope decay from from Lund/LBNL database are included in this database. -
