Bloft (BLObby and sOFT) is a real-time soft-body physics simulator optimized for real-world mobile phones. It is written in Java and uses fixed-point math only. Memory allocations are minimized to suite the needs of JVMs in older mobile phones.

Data can be easily visualized to identify correlations and subpopulations. Subpopulations can be selected and analysed separately. However, such software required data in the FCS data standard. Data2FCS converts data from text files to FCS data files. A special treat is the possibility to transform categorical data into numerical data. DualSub is a tool which allows you to merge two SRT subtitles in a single file. The idea of using merged subtitles (let's call them dual subtitles) is to watch movies/series in original version with two sets of subtitles. Why is this useful? Dual subtitles can be used to learn a second language while watching movies/series. The typical case is when your mother tongue is not English but you want to watch movies/series in English. Then you have several options: 1. Learn English ; 2. Watch it with subtitles ; 3. Watch it translated to your mother language ; 4. Do not watch it. DualSub is a tool for those people between options 1 and 2. If your English is not perfect, you usually face to idioms, words and expression you do not know. By watching movies/series with dual subtitles (i.e. its original subtitles plus a translation) you will never be in doubt anymore of those expressions you do not understand, since the translation is instantaneous.

For the purpose of policy simulation in coupled social-ecological systems (e.g. energy supply), a credible modelling of actors – especially citizens – and their decision processes is needed. LARA (Lightweight Architecture for boundedly Rational Agents) meets these requirements and fills the gap between frameworks without built-in psychological foundations and full-fledged cognitive architectures which are both not viable options in this context. LARA provides prefabricated components of an agent’s decision process like perception, memory, and different modes of decision making. These components are psychologically plausible, i.e. based on appropriate psychological results and theories. Moreover, interfaces for basic learning and social influence are available.
