This project was the result of working on systems constrained to versions of Java < 1.5 and including a great deal of code dealing with object persistence. This project was essentially a proof-of-concept to determine whether or not I could create, essentially, an alternative to JPA that did not rely on annotations. This is another android port of the great occasional game "2048". The original game was made by Gabriele Cirully and uberspot did an android port. Unfortunately the game slows down the more the bigger the tiles are, and is no fun anymore beyond the 16384 tile. So I began to write another port.
