Eu acredito que a melhor abordagem é a de fazer a conexão direta entre os jogadores através de seus IPs, como acontece com o NBRPG e o RIPG. Contudo, isto exclui os jogadores que não tem um IP válido ou os obriga a usar VPNs como o hamachi, o que os torna novamente dependentes de terceiros. Minha abordagem utiliza a infraestrutura do gtalk por um motivo simples: Já que é impossível ficar independente de terceiros sem sacrificar quem não tem IP válido, então pelo menos vamos utilizar uma infraestrutura robusta e gratuita com perspectiva segura de ser mantida online por tempo indeterminado.
